Killzone 2 won't be shattering many records if Sony don't advertise the game.
You can't generalise that much. Not all 20 million PS3 owners will want Killzone. However, alot of them will, I know I surely will be getting on day 1.

I have to be honest that is quite true. It won't ever reach PS2 sales unless it gets one super-duper sales boost from GT5 and FF13 - our only "proper system sellars"

I wouldn't put it on one of my must haves for 2009, however I will buy the game regardless of anything I see now. It looks brilliant from my perspective.
This is the 3rd week of 2009. Hopefully Sony has a price cut soon - I think David Reeves can be a bit coo-coo in the head a little bit.
However the PS3 isn't doing too bad regarding the price. Let's just hope the production costs come down fast, soon enough.
Uncharted is a better game/franchise/characters, but Tomb Raider is much more popular and recognised.
I wouldn't mind a full-blown out of proportion Warhawk. Imagine Warhawk using the KZ2 engine 0_0
I can't wait to play the full game in 2010. Soo much awesomeness. PD are my favourite devs along with Gurellia Games and Naughty Dog in 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

Yes that's correct. All we need is the last 10 weeks of Europe/PAL numbers, not UK alone as UK doesn't equal EU. Only 22% of it.
I'll still get this game regardless of when it arrives because it's Final Fantasy and it's a must have for RPG fans etc.
However, I'm not hyped for it one bit - same goes for versus. There is just little to no information on both games.
That's true, but you have to remember that there still is an 8 million gap between the two consoles. I'm not saying that Sony won't catch up - however it isn't currently feasible for Sony to outsell M$ by like 2-1 in every month for 2009 before the price cut.
I don't really take this 360 - PS3 battle very seriously like most do here. I just play the games. However, I am happy that the PS3 has sold about 1 million more consoles in 2008 than it did in 2007. Remember 2007 also had a price cut in October I believe (could be wrong) and 2008 didn't have a price cut.
One thing I want to ask : Did Sony actually drop the cost of the PS3 or did they just make a new model with less features?
