Who needs a PS2 when the PS1 has a lifecycle of 10 years. PS2 came out in year 6 of PS1 life and PS3 came out in year 6 of PS2's life.
The update CG just did on the 5th was magnificent every car has been changed and made easier to handle. I love this game even though I have platinumised it I still play it. I hope to see a New Burnout by 2010 though.
In other words Sony is saying that the PS3 will be around longer than 10 years. That's fantastic for me - I can stick with my PS3 for a long time without worrying about upgrading.
There are 24 games there which are on my.. radar if you know what I mean. Not sure how must buys yet but there are definitely 24 games which have caught me eye.

Nice reassuring. :) I mean if PS4 came out in 2012 I don't think I'll buy it buy launch, regardless of the price i'll wait a good year or so. I mean Sony will still support the PS3 till 2016 minimum so when PS4 come's out i've got nothing to lose.
Even with the lack of RPG's for the PS3, I don't think this game is worth buying in my opinion. I'll hold onto Valkyria Chronicles for a bit longer - Any information on trophy support??

I still don't know what's so special about 23k. Ok it's 80% sell-through but compared to WKS 130k it's nothing to really brag about. To everyone above - if 360 had 3 million install base vs PS3's 850k then it would've sold 23k aswell (around there).
What i'm trying to say is that PS3 has a higher install base 3x infact than 360 in Japan so 23 v 7 is what it should be to be honest.

Killzone 2 won't get GT5 sales, no way on this planet - GT is the biggest franchise in the entire gaming industry.

Yep agree with everyone else. UK is included in EU and it alone surpassed Japan, EU was always ahead of Japan infact EU is ahead of US too.
