I didn't even know the PS3 needed saving in the 1st place. Does it really need saving? 17 million units in 2 years - compared to X360's 13 million?? I'm not too sure.
Obviously KZ2 won't do Halo numbers - i'd be surprised if it did but the PS3 doesn't even need saving - saving from what exactly?

I seriously can't see this game retail for 2009. I want it to, but realisticly I don't think it will.
Not trying to ruin anyone's parade here, but can someone explain to me what is so special about the constant LBP DLC? Isn't it just new costumes?

Finally there is a developer that matches it's CGI trailer. Sony - Santa Monica you're next. PD are so good that they don't need CGI :)
I think this game will become the highest rated exclusive this generation. Ooops I forgot about God of War 3 lol. I say 96 to Killzone 2 and 95 to God of War 3 - hopefully.

I'm going to try out this Fear game, I don't have much love for horror games but het, it's worth a shot at least. I wouldn't mind picking this up later on in the year.

Yeah they found a way to make money and made a craploaad of games aswell.
I can never see Sony ever going in that direction, they have 20 + internal studios and all of them love to push themselves beyond the boundaries like Insomniac, ND and GG. If the PS4 ends up being some sub $300 peice of toy I will not look twice at purchasing it.
Sony must continue their trend of going higher in technology. Besides, the PS4 will use advanced Cell so Sony will not lose as much...
You have to remember that Microsoft don't annouce all their games early on.
Then again in 2008 all I saw was Gears 2 and Fable 2 as their blockbusters compared to Resistance 2, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Little Big Planet.
However Sony hasn't annouced all thier games either. In addition to Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, inFAMOUS, MAG, God of War 3 (2010 imo), Gran Turismo 5 (2010 imo) and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Sony still has alot to announce and ...
Did they make the original Syphon Filter? :O I don't know their track record besides Killzone 1 and Killzone Liberation.
I don't think i'll get a PS4 at launch come 2012. The PS3 wil have so many awesome titles that will need finishing, unless the PS4 is BC with PS3 games and retails at £300 then i'll get it.
EDIT: About 360, I think longevity does matter if you want to win the console war. Bringing out a new console every 5 years while dropping the old system doesn't warrant you a win - even if you had the highest installed base.
If PS3 outsells 360 LTD when 360 is discontinued...
I wonder what GG will do next? At least they don't have to start from scratch when making their next game.(most probably Killzone 3)
They have the best developed engine out of every developer in the world today so they can build on that for Killzone 3, and for anybody thinking it'll be another 4 years till Killzone 3 comes out - It'll depend on when then they start development.
