Honestly, I agree with him, and I hardly ever touch my 3DS over my Vita these days. It's just been so... slow... with the games.
All I see above me are people trying to tell other people how they should spend their own money. Isn't it sort of up to the person buying said items to determine if it's worth their money?
Doubt it. Unless Nintendo has a patent to have two screens on one device, which I doubt.
It's not that they work or don't. It's the fact that there's an internal battery inside of each cartridge that WILL burn out in time, and when it does, it's going to wipe all save files on that cartridge.
But that's good! So do mine!
Games in general take about 2 years to develop, yes. However, building an engine from the ground up (which is what I assume they're doing), would put another 1-2 years onto development time.
"What does it matter? They are still Sony's games made for them."
That's an awful mindset. I give no credit to Microsoft games made by indie/others specifically for MS, aside from Microsoft being smart to publish it. However, that doesn't make Microsoft "artful" just because it's a game made for them. The same should be said for Sony.
Unless the game only took two years to make, which I doubt, that petition did not create PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
EDIT:
Why the disagrees? Sure, Sony is putting the game out, but that petition was created March 17th, 2010. Unless PSASBR (lol at that..) is running on a previously used engine, it probably didn't take just 2 years. Too much has been shown to believe that this game is not a finished product.
Coming back to this comment board, and reading the comments... it's just sad. Please don't grasp on to this article, just for your own sake. There's no evidence, statistical factual data, or anything. It's sad. And if anyone actually reads anymore, the article contradicts itself.
It's clearly seen as a bogus statistic. Come on folks.
How are they accumulating this data? How do they have statistics for how many users are using a console for media or for actual gaming at a given time? I'm curious.
They would have to have knowledge of specific profits for not only companies like Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo, but knowledge of every company that distributes their products, and then have knowledge of every person who purchases said games, and then have knowledge of how many times that person is using the...
It doesn't matter if people liked a game or not. I guarantee you a majority of people who played SSB didn't know about:
Pit
Ness
Roy
Marth
Ike
Ice Climbers
Lucas
Mr. Game & Watch
Olimar
R.O.B.
Wolf
but that didn't stop them from putting them in the game. And I can guarantee you the majority of audience who will buy PlayStation All Stars won't know a lot of the...
Well, now you know.

Characters that could make a game:
Alan Wake (Alan Wake)
Banjo-Kazooie (Banjo-Kazooie 1/2/N&B)
Kaim Argonar (Lost Odyssey)
Seth Balmore (Lost Odyssey)
Shu (Blue Dragon)
Marumaro (Blue Dragon)

AI can in fact be improved with better hardware. Especially with a faster, multi-core'd CPU. It will just depend on how much effort developers will put into their games.
Judging by how gaming is moving, not a lot of effort is going to be shown.
I'd honestly be surprised if Cloud and Sora didn't show up in it.
Diablo 3
Dragon's Dogma
Max Payne 3
Mortal Kombat Vita
Going to be a great month.
...Have you ever played Max Payne? Bullet time was sort of around long before Red Dead Redemption was even thought up.
You could add Geralt from The Witcher 2 onto that list now. They might as well make their version of it M rated what with their larger franchises being rated M.
Batman could. He's Batman. You can't be stopped when you're the god damn Batman.
You guys really need to shut up and just wait. It's an interesting concept and damn will it be cool if it turns out to be good, but what with the track record of all of these "AAA exclusives", I'm not going to hold my breath.
Don't set yourself up for disappointment. Most of these games are utter garbage, whether it's developed by Sony or not. Superbot Entertainment doesn't exactly have a track record. In fact, isn't this their first game?
You know, I like Naruto: Shippuden, alot... but there's no way I believe it's better than something like Ruroni Kenshin or Samurai X
I don't know why someone disagreed with you. That's exactly what happened. Honestly though, I'm just viewing this game as vaporware at this point.
