To be perfectly honest, I'm impressed by this. I'm a PC gamer myself, and while I know my PC can outdo this, this is still a pretty nice achievement.
Most likely Lionhead/Rare titles.
You're right neomatrix909. This tech demo only has more polygons than every one of those games combined. How will Microsoft ever survive? :(
You know what version I played? The PC version, which is superior to both of your platforms. Now stop bickering. If you're gonna complain, just buy the better version.
@Djinn
U mad?
Aside from an exclusive being an exclusive, why would an exclusive have more merit over any other game? Don't you do the same thing with them regardless? You know, play them?
Or do you just buy PS3 exclusives simply to say you have them? From what I've seen, the majority of multiplatform games are the ones scoring the highest this generation. Judging by Metacritic, out of the 30 90%+ titles rated for PS3, only 10 of them are exclusive, 3 of them being baseball games. ...

Only thing that blows you away are leprechauns.
Sorry to rain on your parade, but GPU tessellation is much different than software tessellation. And no, the PS3 does not support hardware tessellation.
And, just in case you didn't know. Hardware tessellation > software tessellation.
Your arguments are terrible. You're complaining that Kinect is unable to be anything more than a 2D-peripheral, and when someone gives you a scenario such as Controller/Kinect hybrid support as Microsoft already stated would take effect, you complain that it's not really Kinect and that it NEEDS to be this basic 2D peripheral. What's wrong? Afraid that there's more than one option with this device?
Steel Batallion will use controller/Kinect

How the hell is Steel Battalion, Panzer Dragoon, Gears of War 3, and Forza Motorsport 4 casual? I mean, anything with Kinect support is casual according to you, so please do give an answer.
You mean the PC I own that's running Crysis quite well (although the resolution of this shot was only 1680x1050 at the time)

Not really. Considering most of the cards these days actually do support a resolution of 2560x1600, it's not that far off. The only thing that would stop them is a persons monitor.
My $60 (at the time, now discontinued) 4830 supports resolutions higher than 1920x1080. Nothing there would contradict Microsoft policy. They'd just sell their own set of Xbox hardware. It's already being done right now. i5 processors are much cheaper, and by the time this comes out, th...
I just played the multiplayer version on PC. It's pretty damn gorgeous. I'm not going to side with anyone here, but I know without a doubt that DX11 actually WILL make a difference, especially with tessellation. PS3/360 versions will still look beautiful, as with any Crytek game.

Not to mention the screen grab of God of War 3 you have there is a quick time event, allowing a lot more to be rendered as compared to the other screen grab you have, which you can clearly see a difference in actual quality.
You realize technology occurs exponentially, right?
So basically what you're saying is that you have nothing to play.
The important lesson should be not to price it at some ridiculous standard. It's what hurt the PSP and PS3 in the beginning.
I know a lot will say that it's a marathon, but I guarantee you that when you go head to head with a company like Nintendo, presentation and official launches matter too.
