Maybe I feel differently about the game because I really quite enjoyed the drone battles, and loved the idea of stealthing around in a tank. Seemed very Batman, to me. The Arkham Knight seemed to get too many boss-battles, as far as i'm concerned. You fight him from his sniper position, you fight him in a tank, then an excavator. He seemed a bit forced in that respect.

So much this. We all spent so long proving (quite successfully) that video games don't make people worse IRL in regards to violence. Then a large number of gamers were so happy to pretend that gaming made people horrible sexist, racist transphobic monsters IRL instead.

@rakentaja: have you ever played sleeping dogs? It's a nice midpoint between the shenmue style and newly popular freeflow mechanics that games seem to have now. It's tough, brutal and uses the environments pretty nicely. Worth a look if you haven't.
