"PSP, PSP... Will you give a Little Britain Game to me...? PSP SAYS YEEEESSSS......"
Yes, some people care. Granted, it's niche, so not a lot of United Statesians will really give a flying flart.
Now, if there was a Dane Cook game the Americans would go bugfcuk...
Perfect for camera-porn, I suppose.
Don't feel bad -- You can always buy another one.
Did playing a Live opponent really upset you?
^^^ And that, class, is a prime example of rabid fanboyism. You could mail-merge specific terms in that rant and re-use that post for any console's fanboys, but in essence, that rant is pure fanboy gold.
To be fair, I don't think Sony ever said that a firmware update would fix this. The only actual statement before this was in a Phil Harrison interview in which he, erroneously, said that it was a matter of configuring your settings. He did say they were looking into a fix, though.
The first firmware mention I saw was in an article by QJ or GameBiz, and it was all the reporter, not a quote.
I doubt this is going to be really 'fixable'. They *might* be able to g...
Nope, don't miss it at all. And the weight difference is only noticable for the first hour or so. It's perfectly comfortable after a few days of playing, and the sensitivity/accuracy of the tilt has allayed my initial fears.
Don't knock it till you own it.
Please stop:

c) breathing
d) all of the above
Pick one!
GT 4.5, as far as I'm concerned, but the big deal is going to be GT5, whenever the hell that comes out.
...I think Blu-Ray will have a tougher time earning mindshare due to the name, and will have to do a lot more top-notch advertising than the HD-DVD camp.
Superior format or not, the struggle for both sides comes down to the number of installed units, not technology.
Funniest comment I've read for a while!
Monty Python; "Monty Python's Flying Circus", orig. aired 12/15/70:
"SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM."
Yes, you're probably reading old news about Japanese Resistance servers in the first couple days. Who knows what it's like over there, but in North America it's pretty popular.
Thanks for standing up to be counted!
No, it can happen anywhere.
"look at the complaints with RFOM, great online play, but there is NOBODY there."
------
That's absolute nonsense. The servers are packed , and there are numerous 40-player games. I've played in them.
Enough FUD.
LMAO
I wouldn't hold my breath for a usable patch. At least, not for games. I don't know if they can get past this.
Still, it's not a serious issue in the long run. Modern HDTVs/monitors are still fine.
Just more fanboy flames.
Laughable! It's the anti-Sony crowd who consistently start this crap.
Look at some of the negative 360 stories and reviews and it's a lot different. The other fanboys generally stay away from bashing "your" console because from what I've seen most of those PS3 "fanboys" behave until provoked.
You fanboys can't even comment on a POSITIVE 360 story without making taking your obligatory jab at the PS3.
Hyperbear, I was referring to the target numbers. In actuality we did get considerably less. Of the original 400K target, I had read in a Star article that we were expecting about 80K. I haven't been able to track down any launch numbers though.
BTW, I'm not an American. ;) I got my PS3 at my local Toronto EB Games on launch day.
Who needs more than 640K of RAM?
