Customary chuckle. :)
I love the 3D on my 3DS, it really makes the games much more immersive, and that's not B.S. The developers are really taking this new technology and running wild with it. I do know that some sectors (film for example) are using 3D as a gimmick, and I hope more people get to try it in gaming and see that it really can serve as a great supplement to a game's visual presentation.
Everything can break. Why would you buy anything?
Not a stab at you, I'm just not sure the logic applies.
Jason, it's a nice idea, but it's executed *so* poorly. Let's say you buy a digital download of a $60 game. At best, 2% off of that is $1.20, so your $60 game now costs $58.80. Still think it's a great incentive for Xboxers to slave away in front of their consoles?
Sorry to say it, but this is just a lousy stunt to get the less attentive to buy more Xbox games in the hopes of reaching these tiers. I really hope Xboxers see past this ruse.
A year, you mean.
I'm with everyone else on this. You've gotta earn 25,000 Gamerscore in a month to get a 2% discount? That's at best, as someone said, $1.20 off of a $60 game. Not only is it too late, but it's DEFINITELY too little. Microsoft ought to open up their purses a bit and offer its loyal customers a little more incentive, or don't do it at all.
Open world gaming is an awesome genre and it's really engaging these days. I'm still playing Skyrim despite the fact I've easily sunk hundreds of hours into it.
As for the warnings they "have" to place in the game, I think it's total B.S. Does McDonalds print "don't forget to eat a salad once in a while" on their Big Mac cartons? No, they give you the caloric information and expect you to do the math. If a player gets so sucked into a g...
Is the same thing again really bad? Yes and no. It's nice to have a tried-and-true formula, but I still think big gaming companies need to take a few more risks. They've got the capital to do it, but they'd rather play it safe. And why not? We still buy these games.
Still, if anything, Black Ops 2 is going to be awesome on the Wii U. I started off hating BO2 when I saw it showed off at E3, but after seeing it on the Wii U, I actually want to get it, simply for the...
I'd say it's a bit of this and a bit of that. 3D gaming is cool from what I've seen, but it's still a bit rough around the edges. This is really for early-adopters or those who love having the latest tech.
Hey, I call it like I see it. With all the wussy trolls wasting space on here, it's nice to have someone contributing something positive to the conversation.
Speaking of jobs...where do you work? Fox News? White Power Skinheads? Please, tell us about your wildly successful life and how many thousands of dollars you put into your amazing gaming rig.
Oh, right. One bubble. Sorry about that.
I love the irony of your comment.
Boy, you've got one bubble. If I were you, I'd think a little harder about what you say, because you've only got one chance to do it.
Actually, nevermind. Wouldn't want you to hurt yourself.
Thank you. Someone speaks the truth.
All these guys who are boasting about their PC being able to do 20,000 things at once while playing Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, and...erm....some other high-end CPU game all at the same time? Sarcasm aside, they've probably poured a few thousand into it. Consoles make PC-quality games more accessible to a wider audience and provide other ways to play. They both have their merits - it's a stupid waste of time to argue that one side is ...
I love all the uproar this article is getting with console fanboys (and PC fanboys too...)
Let me first say that, right off the bat, I was a PC gamer first. I still am, and I love it. But I also love my consoles.
But here's the truth: consoles ARE computers. They have a processor, a hard drive, memory, and an ethernet card. Instead of a keyboard and mouse, your input device is a controller. Instead of windows, the XBox Dashboard and XMB are your Operating...
I started reading your comment nervously, but I'm glad to see you want everyone to have a good experience. Me too. :)
Yeah, and? It's called marketing, Google it.
I'm waiting to see that all three versions are the same just to prove you guys wrong. Also fanboys.
What are you talking about? Voice chat works perfectly fine on my end.
I didn't think it was possible to surpass the original by much. The sequel managed to do this and more. An unbelievably awesome game!
Green...my point was that he's bitter that MGS, in his eyes, hasn't been prominently featured on the 360, and now that it's finally coming at launch, he's using it as an excuse to bash Sony fans.
Yeah, I saw your comment in the report about the program. I don't see why they couldn't make it, you know, worth it for the consumer to be a member. As it stands, it's at best a "yeah, sure, why not" program. At worst, it's a money scheme.
