I personally buy Call of Duty because i find the art style of the games engaging but i do agree ever since CoD 4 the games have been degenerating slowly. Technically and in terms of artistic engagement although Black Ops is very artistically unique compared to other CoDs. But just the sheer amount of Bulls*** which has surrounded BO release such as all the glitches host-migration and connection issues have taken away much of that appeal.
Xbox can get all the CoD maps a month early if they want, but we have the two most powerful gaming machines linked together for true Co-operation!
This isn't real, that text is from their original presentation therefore when they talk about new perks/killstreaks it actually refers to their press conference back before the game's release date.
Also Check out God of War 3 where you kill Icarus's father while you falsely promise him his son. oh and you also steal his wings.

mhmmmm if this guy (author) had any idea about a Greek tragedy and the way its presented he would know about Hubris and Hamartia. and Kratos like any other Greek Hero/Anti-Hero has both a fatal flaw and a single unified purpose. God of War III is supposed to be viewed as the final act of a Greek epic. In any form of literature the final act is the one where there are the most number of confrontations both physical and emotional (Character development etc.)

but we can't compare a PC which is constantly evolving to a console such as PS3 or Xbox which havent evolved in 4 years.
It's a marvel at what Sony Santa Monica achieved with the ps3.. and they said they only used <33% of the power of the cell-processor! (:O)

Protagonist brought in to crime world either by choice or obligation.
endless hours of exploring (discounting time to and from side missions and Main story)
Unsolid shooting mechanics and cover system
Bugs including horse-faced ladies and the like etc.etc.

honestly it seems like the editor is just butthurt because he couldn't play UC 2 last year ergo his nominees this year are games available on the xbox 360.
I think the only way to consider a game for GotY is for there to be just ONE game for every major console.
not counting handlhelds ofcourse.
so it would ultimately be Mass Effect 2/RDR vs God of War 3 vs Super Mario Galaxy 2.
a) No Gow3 or Heavy Rain or Halo in GotY category = fail.
b) In gameplay innovation they count rock band network and pro mode but not the fact that in ModNation Racers you can literally share and play your creations with others. sure its LbP reminiscent but compared to a yearly cashcow release such as Rockband it deserves to be on there

It's a bit like God of War 3 really..
in some places you had simply breathraking textures, cinematography and character models etc. but then there were moments like the garden of hera or the chain of balance which to be honest are just tiny blemishes;

Well yamauchi... the moment you're able to render out a 1600 foot titan or make GT 5 look as good as GoW3 or UC2 only then can you rant on about PS3 not having the capabilities for executing your visiion.. until then focus on getting one game out than proceed to the next.
