IF all PS3 owners said "f'em" to capcom and refused to buy anymore capcom games. That would pretty much be a "you see thats why we decided to go multi. No one is buying our games on the ps3"

It isnt a lie because most people do not consider a PC a console. So gears is clearly only playable on the 360 console not ps3 or WII
also it can also be for that that particular disc is only playable on an xbox 360.
If you go with the third option then technically all game discs are exclusive to there respective systems.
