Agreed. Have you tried the Circle of Eight or Keep of the Borderlands for it? I found those pretty fun.
Eh, a friend and I tried it. The system was ok, but the maps and stuff just wasn't what we liked. We use Roll 20 atm. Our GM makes maps with RPG Maker and then we have our own pogs and all that good stuff. WOrks well for our Final Fantasy setting.
Agreed, but, it would also have to have a very flexible system instead of a rigid set of rules to get closer to the P&P fun. Example: My friends and I don't like the "spells per day" system, so we use a MP system. Being able yo customise many things (custom classes, features, and all that) would be amazing and much closer to PnP. The problem would be doing it on the technical scale.
The boy in me wants to believe it, but the man doubts it.
I'm just gonna leave this here and let people decide for their own.

But...my shag mobile.

(But in all honesty, I hope they will do well with all the new stuff they seem to want.)
Am I the only one that really hopes the "Tempest" isn't real? I want my Normandy back...
The Dubstep Gun from Saint's Row had me a the first 'wub'! Great fun!
If I had to go with something a bit more practical, I would definitely go with the Moonlight Sword from many of "From Software" games. I think it's great how we go from wielding it in a giant mech to wielding as a greatsword in Dark Souls.
Mr. Toots from Red Faction was hilarious and well worth the scrap!
Yes. I am a PC gamer, have been for quite a time. However, that doesn't stop me from enjoying all of what the console world has to offer.
The Xbox and the 360 had great games like Fable, Dungeons and Dragons: Heroes, and others.
The Playstations had amazing games like Ratchet and Clank, Final Fantasy's, and others.
Nintendo didn't slack either. I will have to admit this right now. I am a Pikmin addict. My horde of cute plant peop...
Eek! I have been awaiting this game for so awhile. Got to play the beta at a relatives (and just finished playing a few hours) and it felt like we were playing Boulder's Gate, Icewindale, or Planescape: Torment for the first time again
Writing is great in a way that (if you like to read) it will put any of the fanciful works of voice acting, facial expressions, and body language of these modern games to shame.
Combat is like those old Infinity Engine ga...
I am all for that Bioshock remaster. Add some fun features or improve upon, make me fall in love with Rapture again, and give me a reason to make my character shoot up with random needles as I cringe behind my monitor with a fear of needles! A ME1 remake would be nice, too.
But, here are some others I would love to see:
Dragon Age: Origins
Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion
Final Fantasy 5,6,8, and 9 and I mean, like what they did to 3 and 4, complete...
Yep. I'm going to agree with you. Bad Company 2 was the last real enjoyment in a BF game to me. Also been playing since Modern Combat.
Hell, I even loved the Bad Company story. Just four guys taking on the world and Sarge just wanting it all to end so he can go fishing(loved Haggard starting a war single handedly XD).
For me, it would go like the following (roughly):
X- The Board System, story, sounds, music, graphics, and gameplay were just perfect for its time. (Don't hate me, but "I <3 YRP")
IX- Again, all were perfect to me at the time. X only beats it with voice acting.
XI- Best MMO I have played to date. Great times with great people coupled with a job and sub job system made this a game I could still go back to.
V- Yeah, I...
Lol, same here. I was about 10 and the biggest thing that tipped me off that I was playing a "big boy's game" was the bee and the sun flower. D'em boobies.
I will have to say that I haven't enjoyed a DBZ since Tenkaichi 2, that is, until this one came along.
I love having 6 people fighting it out on screen. Making your own character through the races was neat, though the only thing I have found to be different are their basic attacks and basic ki blast. A few pieces of equipment locked to race and gender, but that is no biggie (tons of RPGs gets you used to that, sadly).
It was a bit difficult to get used ...
Sure. I'm game. My list of guys I would bang (OK?), no order:
Dante (All DMC's)- The antihero with a body I envy him for.
Balthier (FFXII): The anti-hero (yes, I live the antiheroes) that gets to travel the world with his own Playbo- I mean Vierran!?
Hawke (Default Dragon Age 2): Scruffy roguish hair, manly beard, and an aura of "I will kick anyone's ass".
Link (Legend of Zelda): Master of the swords, ca...
I hope this isn't even their final form! Steam just keeps looking better every year.

Dear Bahaumut,
I will sacrifice my first born in your glorious name if you make FFXV what I have been waiting 9 years (feeling older now...) past its announcement to be.
Your humble follower and FF Fan,
Archmagel
P.S.: If you could later relase it on PC, I will throw in the "Second Born" DLC for free!
In all honesty, I think DA:Origins did it best.
The gift thing could be stupid st times, but actually listening to the characters stories and giving them the meaningful ones (Leliana's love for shoes, the flowers of Andraste, and Morrigan's mirror that her mother broke) was pretty touching to me.
My list would go like this:
Fable
DnD or Pathfinder
Any Anime (Really, any. Bleach? DBZ? Highschool DxD? I'm game)
LotR (Before the 4th Age would be interesting)
Avatar (One of the previous Avatars)
And, yes, something original. I feel they would do wonderful things.
