Both the PS4 and xbox one sell like hotcakes every holiday season, but the PS4 always wins on a global scale. If the xbox one does sell more, it wont be by much, and it will go back down as soon as next year kicks off

Ill be getting it day one. I sunk 150 hours into FFXII back in the day. There was just so much to do and so many side quests. Its kind of amazing how much of a step backwards they took with FFXIII.
in order to catch up, it would have to double the PS4 in sales every week for 2 years straight, or sell 50% more each week for 4 years straight.
And keep in mind, it has not outsold the PS4 globally for a single week since it launched. So that seems like a very unlikely scenario.

I'd hate to say it, but if anyone needs the remaster to catch up, its xbox one owners. They are getting KH3 when the xbox has NEVER had a kingdom hearts game (and barely any FF games). I still dont get why they felt the need to release it on that system. It isnt going to sell on X1.

By the time they launch the NX, the new playstation or xbox consoles might be 2-3 years away. By the time they get third party devs back on board and a half decent library, they will be a generation behind again.
And some people think there wont be a PS5 or xbox(?) because they think it will go to streaming. Please, people. First of all we saw how well received universal DRM was in 2013. They are nowhere near the online infrastructure to support such a thing at this time.
