taking out the multiplats, here is what we had
Forza horizon 2 (already knew about)
Project spark (already knew about)
Fable legends (not coming till 2015)
disney fantasia (already knew about)
Sunset overdrive (already knew about)
ori and the blind forest (ironically one of the most interesting games there is an indie)
Halo collection (already knew about)
a bunch of PC indies (many of which may or may not be on PS4)
even for pre rendered gameplay i certainly wouldn't call it "stunning"
forza is officially the COD of racing games. the 4th forza game in 4 years? no wonder the sales and interest in the series has declined

that is pretty insulting to the people who supported them for 20 years and bought 15+ titles from them. especially the people who supported their recent mediocre titles. they value those fans just as much as xbox owners who didnt give two ****s about spyro, ratchet, and clank or resistance.
they released one game on xbox and that was fuse, which sold 90,000 copies. and you are sucking up to that fanbase? heres hoping you receive similar luck this time, insomniac.
its selling over 100K per week. so it will take 23 weeks or less to reach that much. not to mention the holidays when it spikes up
battlefront has already been announced for PS4 and is available for pre order
after seeing what happened to titanfall and EA, what big third party studio would be dumb enough make a deal with microsoft and exclude the PS4?
tell that to bethesda or dice
if people on the internet have had roms like this worked out for over a decade, why the hell cant these companies get them working on PSN?
second son had better characters than infamous 1 and 2, but a much, much weaker plot. it doesnt feel like there is an over arching threat or a good buildup. it just feels aimless, storywise. you need to have stakes, a ticking clock, or something to keep us invested. and the whole plot of "take the cement out of granny and the rest of the tribe" comes off rushed and it is barely even mentioned.
there arent any good secondary villains in the game. that is a big proble...
but why couldnt they extend the draw distance a bit more. that was a bit disappointing in the comparisons
the fact that microsoft's original vision failed is possibly the best thing to ever happen to the industry. we dont need DRM and casual gimmicks shoved down our thoats
and if that is truly the only original thing they have to offer, then they definitely need to bow out of the industry altogether.
i was expecting a bit bigger of an improvement on draw distance in next gen versions. hopefully there are settings to tweak
globally, the xbox one would have to outsell the PS4 by 50K per week for 60 weeks in order to catch up. lol good luck with that, considering not even titanfall's launch was able to do that for one week
60 fps should be a standard at this point. when are these developers going to get it through their thick skulls that gamers want a high framerate, more than a few extra effects and polish. all those enhanced visuals dont do us any good when they are shrouded in motion blur the whole time.
playing through alot of the HD collections, like god of war origins, really demonstrates how a 60fps framerate can make even PS2 era games look good.
