this is why Anita Sarkeesian doesnt debate her critics head on, or engage in interviews where the person isnt already 100% on her side (like the rolling stone interview, ughh).
these people cannot defend the claims the make about themselves and their enemies, the whole victim narrative. it just falls apart under scrutiny. so they need the biased media campaigns, the interviews, the speaking engagements. anything besides actually facing their critics.

i may be an avid anti-theist, but i can respect that this christian site keeps the "game score" and "morality score" separate. in other words, they dont let their political or religious views impact the objective score of the game. unlike alot of other sites these days *couch* polygon *cough*

in order to make games grow as an art form, we need to tear down boundaries and move into areas that might make some people uncomfortable. whitewashing media has never led to anything creative or compelling being made

if you judge it by MMO standards it would be utterly atrocious. the economy is non existent, the level of content is severely lacking (especially if you were to compare it to an MMO) and the loot system is incredibly flawed. and it doesnt have nearly the diversity and divergent paths that MMOs typically have. the world of destiny just feels empty.
we arent the ones who need to grow up, sunshine. feminists are one of the most fanatical, hypocritical, and petty groups in existence. and they hold many beliefs that are simply not intellectually tenable or supported by facts at all.

the ties between the historical segments and modern times always seemed rather weak. i get the impression that the creators originally just wanted to have some sort of historical, period piece game, but were pressured into having this sci fi stuff in order to have wider appeal.
because the whole templar and supernatural mythos isnt delved into very deeply throughout the games and just feels like something in the background most of the time.
and ive only seen feminists take it to this extent to where it completely dominates the discussion in the media. they always want to make all about themselves and their victim mentality and not the actual issue
