I really want to see this game branch out in terms of gameplay. Melee looks great, but their needs to be more moves and more enemy variety. Also more weapons, we've seen the lightning rod thing, we need more! Its nice to see that telekinesis type move, we need more of those moves which give a "wow factor". Id also like to see more variety in missions, there were lots in the first game but by the end you do each type way too many times. If they deliver on these things, itll be GO...

Thats because pre-ordering in America is huge, but not that big in other countries. For instance look at Black Ops pre-orders for the 360 vs PS3. 360 has over twice as many pre-orders, yet the PS3 version will sell around 80% of the 360s. Why? Because North America is dominated by the 360, and only NA pre-orders
I had a lot of hope for this game, but thy really dropped the ball. Not FF13 dropped the ball, but totally messed up. Luckily its an MMO, and the game can be fixed. Hopefully they do before the PS3 launch, or Im passing

This is a blessing in disguise. Maybe this is for the best, maybe this will make SE take a long hard look at what they've become, and try to change. All their major releases get high reviews and are critically acclaimed, they have never needed to improve. And now they have to. FF13 wasnt an amazing game, but it wasnt as much of a failure as 14 is currently. Luckily its an MMO and things can be fixed in the future. Heres hoping they do take all the criticism and try to improve.
