Because there are better more cost effective CPU's that would not only reduce the price of the system but make it easier to develop for.
They invested in the project yet it hasn't been the success that it was suppose to be outside of the PS3 sector. So cut the losses and move on would be one way of handling it.
Seems to me you are the only misinformed when it comes to this.
I'm sure the PC rivals that piracy and likely out does it as some games are 90% piracy took such as AC2.
Well it wasn't poorly researched as what he all said was official numbers nor was it illogical because he just painted the picture.
When you refer to Sony doing the best of all companies I hope you are referring to in gaming divisions which is still hard to figure considering Live banks in over $1B in sales and profit.
3D integration is at 4% while Move is hard to track due to all those peripherals but over 9 million move controllers have been pushed.
Does staying bitter over a game franchise help you sleep better at night?
Did you even own a SNES? Those games were really expesive and if you add inflation then it is borderline roobbery. Game production has risen to the point where a $40 game would have to tell 2 Million to turn profit.
But the general people don't know about them if they weren't shown in the big press conference. Not a smart move.
Amazon doesn't quite have the catalog but if you are also a member for free shipping then it is worth the $80.
Your rant about getting a disagree is amusing to say the least. Relax, it ins't that serious.
3D in consumer home isn't plausible right now. It is a luxury more than it would be a standard. Now as prices fall adoption may rise yet can you justify that upgrade when 3D offers a downgrade of quality and has limited media that supports outside of select games and movies.
With a 4% adoption rate the amount of support Sony threw at it was kinda premature but I don't think they are wrong for supporting 3D.
I see 3D taking off when 4K 3D Tv's are...
Right.
Why am I expected to pay more money for the same game and Sony wants to talk about Cross-Platform play as a main feature yet that is too much money.
I love you Sony but please the ports are killing me.
Vivendi cares about money not if CoD is moving forward or not. They think Activision is at the peak of their life therefore selling it would mean you get the most money back.
You really think billionaires care if CoD is moving forward.
I'm sorry but what in the world are you talking about.
Your comment just screams crazy fanboy to the max. That wasn't even a reply to what I said that was a rant about why you feel the PS3 is better than Xbox 360.
Now, I'm happy you enjoy that PS3 and it has served you well and better than a 360 could but stay on topic please.
If you want to spend 500+ for the console sure be my guess but that isn't good business and eno...
My Ivy Bridge is a lower clock then my Sandy Bridge but it is better. Clock speed is almost negated when you factor in fabrication size and optimization. Sure it may be lower clocked but I guarentee the die size and processor is better.
Well I know I will be buying an Xbox 720 hope it is named Xbox 8. I'm really excited for E3 2013.
If those leaked documents are real well good job Microsoft having an 8 times more powerful machine for $300 that is just full of win.
#5- I don't think you are going to have that killer game withing it's first two years but it will definately come.
#4- I doubt it is going to happen since rumors of departing from Cell and that they can just re-sell their consumers the games and they will buy.
#3- It's either Sony learns how to make affordable hardware or they just fall behind.
#2- I personally think the controller needs to be slightly bigger with better trigger...
People are willing to pay 500+ for tablets and 1000+ for ultrabooks. I think a lack of money isn't an option. It is whether you want to spend your money on a console.
I expect the Xbox8 name actually
I agree yet won't happen.
Makes sense to claim and unannounced device with nothing but speculation as a failure. Who needs common sense or reason this day or look to the past that is irrelevant.
