Not really sure what to think of this. Maybe they were under a lot of pressure and didn't have the manpower to finish off on both platforms, and obviously the 360 is going to be their main priority so the pc version bites the bullet. Or MS wanted it as a total exclusive on 360 so made them chop it.
Who knows, fact is it's a shame as it would have been good to play on the pc. Still gonna get it though for the 360.

Great article, you definitely dug up a lot of information. I love Civ, so much so that I've had to uninstall it on occasion as the chances of me getting a good nights sleep are very low when I've started a game.
I welcome the changes myself, they sound like great improvements from what I've read while still keeping most of the core gameplay. Can't wait for it to release tbh, although I may need to take a few days off lol.

As they do on the Wii, you can check how many the first one sold if you want, I think it was near on a million. Let's give this one a chance seeing as it's only just come out. Save your trolling for the sales figures of this title once it's been in the shops for over 6 months or so.

Yeah the Virtual Boy was a disaster, I'm not sure what they were thinking with that. I think they learned a hard lesson there.

I can see his point, kinda, to a certain extent as although I loved the game it was uneven in places, but didn't really spoil it for me.

Yeah I agree, it's just off-putting. When you can mix your game with your own music it's great though, for example in the GTA games. I spent a lot of time making playlists in San Andreas, driving along the countryside while listening to some Pink Floyd was fantastic.
This game is one of the best I've played this year, it's like a massive playground. A big step up from the first game, they sorted out a lot of the problems and added loads of new stuff while still giving you a huge map to play on.
Deserves success.
I doubt that's going to happen though. Nintendo's been in the handheld business for so long now, they're basically the masters at getting people to buy them.
