But it's not Nintendos responsiblity to help indie game makers or devs with low capital to be successful on the ds, or wii even. Nintendo make consoles and they make games, they don't owe anyone a living. I agree it's a shame about those indie devs, but that's life.
Having said that, success is not something that is only possible for Nintendo on the ds. Level 5 have done quite well out of the ds, but maybe they are one of the few.
At the end of the day the gaming ind...
Excellent, thanks Irnbru.
EDIT:God, that Jon Bentleys got some eyebrows.
EDIT2:I had to skip most of that and get to the part in question, that Gadget Show is sh*t.
EDIT3:That was completely sh*t.
Conclusion - The Gadget Show is one big advert, and a complete load of sh*t.
I've played plenty of games on the wii that have kept me entertained for more than 5 mins. A lot of them I've played on and off for over a year, I can't think of many games on my ps3 that have kept me coming back. Not to knock the ps3, but the games aren't as long lasting, usually they get finished and sold off. Not so with many of the games I have for the wii, SD graphics or not.
That blocked video was great. I love living in the UK.
What has the EyeToy got to do with Nintendo? How is it similar?
@DaTruth:Just like Motion Control, that's kewl as well now!
I just don't see the point myself, trophies are there to achieve for yourself. They aren't olympic medals but it's something you can try to obtain. I like them, apart from anything they prolong the life of games.
You might be able to finish a game but are you good enough to get that trophy that requires you to beat the game on a hard difficulty?
It's like people that use wallhacks in CS. Excellent, you know where everyone is. But you couldn't beat them fairly.
All I'll say is this. When is the 3ds coming out?
And this - because it won't be coming out for quite a while yet, giving devs plenty of time to develop and capitalize on any products they do feel like making for the 2 (yes 2) systems they choose to develop on.
They can quite as easily make a game that will use the extra features on the dsi without neccesarily making a game that will not be playable without the dsi's functions.
I remember playing Zelda o...

'Sony was working on motion control long before Nintendo'
You were there then, working for Sony (or Nintendo)?
EDIT: My question to you RememberThe357, how long were Nintendo working on it?
Cool, I haven't played it yet, but when I do I'll be using this glitch.
Nah, not really. People who do are glitch game playing scum. No one should play games relying on a games big glitches to better themselves.
Damn glitches.
Shush, Sony don't copy others. Remember, we're on n4g now.
The thing is n4gn4gn4gn4g (couldn't you have picked a shorter name?) that anyone of us could have predicted that. It's fairly obvious. This is non-news. This is a whispering, not news worthy at all.
'analyst predicts'
Really? Who'dhavethought?

Sorry, you're right and the site is talking crap. I'm just a bit argumentive at the moment, didn't actually read the article (I've read it now though). My apologies.
I think you've been watching too much Star Trek solid, I don't see any news about Nintendo making handhelds with holographs, I think you're reading into this 3d stuff a bit too much.
There's more to 3d gaming than visuals Solid, all I'm saying is you don't know what they are doing or how it will work. Anything is possible.
You are saying 3d gaming on a handheld will not be possible.
There's the difference. I guess we will find out when it is unveiled, until then theories on the matter are just opinion.

The thing is, and I didn't disagree with you I'm just saying, you haven't seen the final product and until you do you won't know how they do it or what they are doing until that time. So there's no need for a lecture on 3d on a handheld gaming system from someone like yourself.
