Problem is that about 4/5 LOOK different. Not "identical" as you claim. 2/3 AAA on X1 is not even Full HD. What you suggest is straight up false and damage control at best case scenario.
X1 fans needs to just accept this and move on.

I think Cloud is great and opens opportunity to improve gaming experience whether it is small or not. but it is not some special sauce...
Cloud AI or Server AI is not special sauce. My old CS1 custom games had that. All MMOs have "cloud AI" and most games that have dedicated servers have "cloud AI" (yes that even includes PS3 and X360 games)

This was pretty obvious to level headed people. Unfortunately, most people werent. People need to get over couple facts.
1. Server side compute has been around forever. It does not require special infrastructure.
2. There is no SECRET SAUCE in X1 that allows this.
3. Even Sony had their own with Everquest Next.

DIgital Foundry also noted performance gap where X1 version is dipping or suffering performance more frequently.
It seems like gap is not reduced and it even seem to be increasing.
Can we stop this with "adaptive resolutions" non sense?
Most games so far with so called "adaptive" resolutions, are games that has menu as 1080P while games are 900P or cut scenes are 1080P while game is 900P.
It is just 900P. Calling it adaptive is laughable.
As far as resolution vs graphics vs performance goes, it is upto devs to figure out how to balance them.
However, having more power equals you get...
If anything trust MS engineers, they already put this rumor away by stating DX12 is giving "what console has to PC".
X1 has some great games coming. Focus on that instead of some secret sauce dream that has been chased around.
It already has same low level of API of DX12, it already has draw calls, and it only has 2 Async Engines so it cant really utilize Async Compute. Not to mention small GPU really do not have any room to use to begin with.

But keep in mind this game is on PC and PS4 later. It isnt an exclusive to be biased about.

As for X360 owners, I do not think last gen owners are going to switch to new gen for last gen games...
I mean if they have last gen system and playing last gen games, why jump to next gen to play last gen?
Forza is mostly great with one downside for me:
Prebaked lighting (or fake lighting).
It has painted shadows and lighting to texture. So your game has almost no or very little actual lighting.
This was done last gen and imo has no place in this gen. But i guess you have to make compromise due to hardware limitation

Both Xbox Live and PSN have its issues, but reality they are both fine and exaggerated in both case scenario.

Most will disagree with that.. especially with how much crazy effects UC4 has going on. However, both games are not out and bit early for comparison.
here is what we do know for fact. All X1, exclusive or multiplat are struggling. Most games are not even 1080p. That includes their first party games.
If they are struggling with their hardware this early. what would happen later this gen when software pushes the hardware furthe...
