@Bigman4k For 1080P and 1440P with raytracing and good texture detail the Xbox series S will be fine. We On pc are running 120 fps at 1440P with Ultra detail textures with HDR and it looks far better than whats on console even on 4 year old hardware today.
Its too big it cant fit into a Japanese apartment lol. Thats what they said in japan about the first xbox lol.
Yeah i had 3 ATi 4870 cards in crossfire to run it at 45 fps on High or ultra i dont remember it was so long ago at 1080P lol. It was a crap game to run especially on AMD hardware and the phenom 2's were pretty good back then. I could max out battlefield 3 and witcher 2 easy though and no single card could max out witcher 2 when it came out with uber sampling on back then,
@badz149 Getting these games to run at 4k they are using tricks to make them run correctly like dropping detail and particle effects. It would look better at 1080p and 1440p with high frame rates and HDR and better texture detail. These consoles dont beat a 2080 super at 4k so compromises are being made to run at 4k. The series S will look just as good if they just focus on texture detail, particles , HDR lighting , ray tracing and frame rate get it above 60fps and it will look just as good ...
Thats good my computer still is better than the recommended but i want ray tracing maxed out if i ever get a 3080 in stock.

People forget the xbox 360 that didnt have a hard drive sold like crazy .
Also with high texture detail 1080P looks great just turn on HDR or raytracing and it will be fine just like on PC. Get the framerate up past 60 and it will run smooth as butter. Texture detail,lighting and frame rate is more important than 4k. 4K has become some marketing BS at this point because they are turning down graphics features just to get these games to run at 4k.
Also most 4k Tvs today dont do 4k 120hrz they can only do 4k60 and some can do120hrz on 1080P mode.
Been doing it on pc for 10 years now. I only install them on games that are easy to run like skyrim or rainbow 6 siege.
The power of the cell, Ps2 will have toy story level graphics, Play station is a super computer, and more Bs sony has said over the years.
Its texture packs 4k textures can be 50+GB by itself thats why they are optional downloads.

I almost went to sleep on it too many remasters make something new.
Too many remakes might as well get game pass at least you get some new games on it.
Get game pass and you will have plenty of games . Im getting a RTX 3080 though lol.
Miners are going back to buying graphics cards so if you dont get a 3080 this month you wont get one until next year and at a higher cost like 900 dollars.
NO they have been suing GTA mod makers because they were too good and far better than their own DLC.
Amd may reach 3070 levels performance they wont reach the 3080 im calling it now these new gpus dont have the enough Cu cores like always. Im not sure what amd is doing but they cant get to 3080 performance with that few Cu cores its the 5700xt all over again.
@FPSFox I never had problems with AMD cards bit the last amd cards i had was the rx 480 and the 280x cards i had no problems with the drivers. Even when i had 3 ATI 4870 cards i had no problems with drivers it was games supporting my 3 cards was the problem i mostly played Battlefield games at the time and crossfire worked well in multiplayer for them.
@jukins You are a fool segas massive arcade catalog and all the franchises they made on the dreamcast by itself is worth it. Also all the game IP's they have from the Master system that they never brought back.
