If the leaks are true, than no chance. The original wasn't that amazing either. It was an ok game. I never understod what people love about it that much but I'm in the minority here. But this one will crash and burn. However, there is a group of people, not even gamers who will just LOVE this game for political reasons and will give this game a 11/10 best game eva.

This is actually very sad. People keep wasting money on useless crap that adds nothing to the gane but at the same time, takes a lot from normal people who just want to play and experience a gane in it's entirety.
Don't even start with "it's just cosmetics" argument. We used to unlock those by gameplay and not by a 30 hour grind or $4.99. Cosmerics used to be something you went for in games and now they are all locked behind a paywall. Microtransaction...

What I percieve as next gen is a game that you look at and say; wow, that looks amazing, I haven't seen a game look this good before. You know, just like before every new gen in history. A game that shows off the power of the new systems.
It is in fact a cross gen game. What this means is that it will have a next gen version and a current gen version. What they showed off in the screenshots is the next gen version. There is no such thing as "next gen compatible". You just came up with this term.

So far, all games that have been shown as next gen, do not look next gen at all. The best looking game is Assassins Creed Valhalla and that didn't blow my mind either.
