Is 10 months really that soon for a DL only expansion pack to a game? (okay I don't actualy know when it releases)
Many PC games tend to get full fledged expansions a year or sooner after release from what I recall.
Damn you corporate culture
Well, I sure didn't hold in my laughter. I instantly chuckled after the title registered.
I see so much hate on this game and I don't know why. I love the art direction and the platform and combat are fun. Sure it isn't Uncharted 2 or God of War 3 but its a beautiful and creative game with a strong narrative and that I enjoy.
"Another ‘one more thing’. Don’t use focus groups. If you use Japanese focus groups, you’ve missed the point. If you use North American or European focus groups you’ll just obtain a flat game. Go with bold ideas instead, based firmly on what you know it works for your game."
Like Vanquish and chucking in rocket boosters BECAUSE WALKING IS BORING and Max Payne bullet time :D
I remember when Odin Sphere released a few years back, had to have it because of the crisp colorful 2D graphics and overall art direction. (norse mythology ftw) Really hope those rumors of HD Odin Sphere & Murasama (sp) PSN / Live remakes are true!
What? No Werehog? Couldn't they replace gun wielding Shadow with the werehog? At least Shadow looks funny (in a good way) with a gun : /
MS no supporting the HD-DVD software format with the 360 was one of the deciding factors of me not purchasing one ~_~ (I'm speaking game wise, if it went over your head)
Metroird Other M and SSMB > Move. Yes, I said it even though I don't own a Wii ;_;

The Warcraft 3 map editor from 2002 allowed you to create top down shooters, RPGs, over the shoulder view racers, and I've seen people successfully recreate various board games or game shows on it such as monopoly, risk, jeopardy, or who wants to be a millionaire and the Starcraft 2 map editor allows for the creation of platformers, first person shooters, third person shooters, brawlers, racers, you name it; all from an RTS. And yes, to be honest I did see something such as genre creatio...
By Darkstalkers I assume you mean Darksiders?
Bobby Kotick can chew on my rectal hairs and roll around in a shallow grave filled with broken heroine syringes.
I'm going to recreate Donkey Kong Country levels!
Smokey, note that I said PC GAMES, not PCs. World/map editors that are packed in with a bunch of Pc games such as the WC3 map editor are extremely versatile, don't require coding, and have been around much longer than LBP.
Also saying "Who cares about Item X" is a rather narrow minded and rude comment that overlooks millions of people every time its stated. Well, for most things anyway. I'm sure deep down inside you deeply care for PCs because without t...
Not to be a hater but can you explain the innovation present in Little Big Planet? You've been able to do everything LBP does and then some with PC games for a while before it released : / I'm glad to see that LBP2 is much more versatile in its level creation now, such as the fact that it now adds genres, different camera angles, and the ability to string levels together, something I was expecting from the first game as it was being promoted based upon the premise of creation.
Even greater is that Dead Space Extraction has its own trophies too!.... lol. Well I'm thrilled to get the chance to play Extraction, its one of the reasons I had been contemplating a Wii. Now with the rumored Murasama HD port all I'd need one for is Metroid other M
Eh, 4 of the games you listed were from mega powerhouse Japanese developers I don't think those should exactly count lol
I look into and purchase games with no thought about the nation / area of origin but TBH last generation my PS2 collection is split about 50% 'western' games and 50% Japanese games. This gen' its about 80%+ Western games and 20%+ Japanese games. That is based solely upon a PS3 though and way I hear it many Japanese studios that aren't powerhouses like SE, Capcom, or Konami don't exactly have the resources to invest or the desire to risk an investment into the current gen...
Why do people act as though just because Kojima productions acted as an advisory team they were responsible for the creation? They helped heavily with facial animations from what I heard and Kojima lent lots of advise towards how to get the proper emotion out of cut-scenes or characters but goodness X_X Mercury Steam had creative control and like a good person took advise from his/her elder while at the same time not being dictated by that elder (Kojima)
