cross platform online play?
How dare you have a balanced and well thought out response on N4G!

Very pretty indeed. Flashlight looks great! Lets hope the gameplay lives upto the promise these screentshots show. One to watch in 2009.
It`s fair to say the PS3 wasn`t lead platform, no suprise given Bethesda`s history. Personally im PC version for this (same with FC2), but PS3 owners shouldnt` boycott the game, its one of the best games of the year so even if its graphically inferior, your still getting the same high quality gameplay experience. Who knows the differences may not be as extreme as this review makes out.
Spoken from the heart.
"Linger In Darkness"?
Have i missed something?
At least get the name of the titles correct! doh!
Unchartered/Naughty Dog are US based.
Good luck to our resident specialist opticians on N4G who seem to be able to see things others do not.
Looking with my eyes i say........................... everyones a winner.
Photo mode included as a few previously speculated.
"Everything is narrated by a British man that completes reminds you of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"
Great journalism right there! "completes reminds"????
Stephen Fry is the "british man" in question and yes tiz he whose voice in Hitchhiker`s.
Having played both demos, i still think PES is what im most happy with. Fifa has defo made improvements over last years effort, but PES still feels more realisic to play. Ball movement feels more natural and lifelike. And the many ways in which a goal can be scored feels and looks more in line with reality. All of this is of course IMHO, and naturally people will like Fifa more, but isn't it great theres a choice and demo`s for people to "try before you buy" ?
I still have to say FFVII is my particular favourite.
"game for kids."
You couldn`t be anymore wrong!
No problems here so far.
They meant it would fill 4 BD dics IF the track data was constructed the "normal" way and not procedurally generated like this is supposed to be.
Lets hope the comparisons end there!
He says Killzone in 2005, not Killzone 2.
"They did a tremendous job – and it’s a story they repeated in 2005 with Killzone – where they promised the consumer something they probably believed they were going to deliver, but they never did."
No mention anywhere about PS3 execpt the headline. Plus the fact he says "but they never did". KZ2`s not out yet of course and im sure he`s aware of that which makes me think he`s talking about the 1st KZ, whi...
Great review and a great start to the many incoming reviews, hopefully this score sets a trend with the rest.
m very impressed with this! lots of little things which all add up. Controls are defo tighter, shorter (skippable) death anims, burnout style crumple zone crashes, sun glinting off the other vehicles when caught right, same fantastic lighting as MS1, feels quite a bit quicker (noticable as soon as the race starts, no more crawling starts!), audio much improved (cleaner and more suptle fx), framerate holds up much much better compared to MS1, much quicker loading, texture wise i`d say both gam...
Yep, i`d say pretty much alike. Anyone saying ones better than the other is just trying to make themselves feel better. And how anyone can say one is sharper than the other based on a small video is.......well......the word brainwashed springs to mind!
