MW2 made a boatload of revenue, not profit. Profit is what is left after everything else comes into the fold (operational expenses, cost of goods sold, tax expenses, etc.) MW2 must have made a good amount of gross profit, but net profit is another issue.

The way I look at it, the more a pathetic, broken game like Tony Hawk Ride sells, the greater a sense of caution will come upon Activision's consumer base the next time they see an Activision product (yeah MW2 is broken and all, but no need to bring that up.
