@Yi-Long Spot on. The first two Batman games were amazing single player games with great stories. This is not a direction anybody was asking for... It might be good in it's own right but it is still a disappointment to a lot of the fanbase.

I agree the only thing they wouldn't market heavily 6 months prior would be a remaster.... And that is probably all Switch is getting this holiday season. Probably some Mario 3D World remaster/deluxe for the 35th anniversary. No new Zelda game until next year.
I would really like remasters of Wind Waker +/- Twilight Princess but I find that somewhat unlikely I mean if they are going to release remasters of Zelda games on Switch I would expect them to cash in those that weren't remastered yet like Skyward Sword and perhaps N64 era games that could do with a proper remake even.
I dont have a PS4 .... So PS5 version day one for me... As long as its the same price as PS4 😝 I cant imagine it wouldnt be though obviously if PS4 version also gives you access to PS5 version patch/download if anything it should be the most valuable version technically...

I love the Xbox One controller that's why I use it on my PS4... I purchased one after trying it at a friends house and yeah maybe the games I played had minimal haptic support but it was pretty underwhelming and certainly nothing ground breaking enough to dismiss the DS4... You have got to be sarcastic... On a more serious note its easy enough to use Xbox One controller on PS4 I use Brooks XONE and it even works with the Nintendo Switch which is great when I need multiple controllers
I dont want to hate on Killzone but man imagine a Killzone 4 or 5 instead of Horizon Zero Dawn?
Killzone can still come back but damn Sony has talented studios I'm glad they aren't tied down to the same IPs year after year.
I would hope Sony knows what made them successful and will continue on the same path.

I won't disagree with you but to me the reason why 1st party games on PS4 stood out in particular is because for the type of games they make (I would put Nintendo in a separate category) they annihilated the competition vs last gen, Microsoft was much more competitive especially early Xbox360/PS3 days.

Newborn child stuck at home with zero outside contact or help besides wife who is back at work full time and doing extended hours... I tried gaming but I get either super irritated when I can't beat a level because it sucks in too much time I cant spare or I feel just guilty because I have so little energy and time to spare that I feel bad putting any at all into gaming.... Thats the short of it.
Yeah I feel like that too, well I think it looks good but not great... Meanwhile 120 fps on next gen plus 4 player splitscreen are pretty neat but still I wish the graphics looked more next gen.
