My biggest gripe with constant updates is the fact games are so broken in the first place when they're released.
Funny how short this article is yet they don't feel the need to mention the other free game next week besides Metro...
Digital hoarding is fun :D
Yessss and hopefully Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima!
I think the idea with next gen is that a theoretical 3060 would be as powerful as a 2070 and likewise 3070 and 2080 meanwhile bringing prices down vs current gen cards making them more affordable... Given consoles are always cheaper.
I know Gamestop gets (and deserves) a lot of hate but I am cautiously optimistic. I still like going in store to buy games from time to time and using their store space for gaming related mini events sounds cool although I'm not sure how that will work?
I'm curious what other gamers here think of E3. I loved the idea of anticipating all these announcements all in one place, once a year. I would sometimes even take time off to stream the conferences live. This year's E3 was such a letdown though I feel as if the conference, regardless of their efforts is going to fade into oblivion.
I wouldn't qualify it as a mistake but I'd argue their weakest launch was probably PS3 and even that generation turned out great in the long run. I have way more faith in them then the competition.
@Duoma if you actually paid attention you'd know digital sales on console are shit when you pit them against steam and the other dozens of digital stores on PC. Nevermind the best deals are locked behind a pay wall with services such as PS+. I was able to get Spiderman and RDR2 for roughly 15 dollars a pop barely 4-5 months after release. Ring me up when you can find them both at that price digitally.
What you can trade in console games for Steam vouchers?! That sounds pretty sweet??
Me too actually forgot about that but I got a sweet deal on that same edition at gamestop back then :)
"In order to save money" I don't know what part of the world you live in but physical is almost always cheaper in the US. You have so many more rapid price drops, used deals etc. Digital is still not priced competitively.
B3 is bound to be a lot of fun to play but graphically it's very underwhelming especially this late in the generation...
Indies are a really nice way for devs to express their creativeness without the huge risks and investements of AAA. Inside is a gem among so many others. Great times to he a gamer!
I was under the impression his comment would have been some kind of weird sarcasm but even then... It's complitely off topic. Definitely wasted a few braincells trying to make some sens out of this.
@Stanjara Oh 😆 It's been a while
It was on sale and ebgames but out of stock... I woke up in the middle of the night and refreshed the page and it was back in stock! :D
Oh well I waited long enough for Persona 5 on the Switch I might as well grab it at 20$ for the PS4 or even better borrow it from a friend
Actually I think he's telling people to buy a Switch...
Yup... Personally I have been so pissed off about that retail launch price in Canada (it' like over 90 bucks here with tax) that I go out of my way to wait til those games drop to 10-20 $ (got RDR2 and Spiderman for 20 CAD last February) and pay full retail only when I feel it's reasonable like Ratchet and Clank reboot, Crash Team Racing (although the DLC is a pain in the ass) 50 dollars a pop and more recently; Wreckfest at 40 CAD! Worth every penny!
