exactly, HTML5 and Flash will co-exist for a year or so at the converison rate by my guess unless adobe ramp up their game and bring in some really good stuff for flash, which they likely won't as they haven't really done much new in the last few years and are just sitting on photoshop which is basically a monopoly for them.
Thing is I would rather digital distribution, hard drives are more reliable than discs, though some will argue that (pro tip: buy from a reliable HDD maker, seagate or western digital), and lol no cloud computing is just a bad idea, enjoy the server going down and not being able to play, or the company folding and not being able to play the game ever again.

Enjoy not being able to use most things on the internet if you don't want to use flash. They'll live alongside eachother for a while unless adobe gets its act together, which they haven't had together for a long time. with their largest application photoshop not much new has been added in the last four versions, and it's became incredibly bloated in those last four versions.

The only other product I can think of they're coming out that can compete with it is windows phone 7, so of course it's the most exciting, we've all seen phones before.

Only in the US and a few other countries really, the US is playing catch up with the rest of the world in internet speeds, the AVERAGE in Japan is 61Mbps as more things go digital more people will be willing to pay for faster plans which in turn pressure the ISP's to upgrade their lines to faster things like fiber.

I was reffering to game sales in my comment. True there may be tons of PC's sold a year but out of that only a small portion will be used actively for games (buying new ones on a regular basis) When it comes to talking about gaming and PC components most won't be used for games, most will be bought by other people the money goes to people who make hardware thats used for games but pre-builts are likely where most of their profits come from, high end PC's aren't all used for games either.
FF12 was the most boring, not 13, talk about pressing x all the way through XIII in XII you just moved your character around, hell I beat the last boss without pushing any buttons, you could even use the neglamurr trick to auto-level yourself. You don't have to keep pushing X it's you saying you're too lazy to use the abilities command.

I personally think PC gaming is stagant, it's getting better as it asw +3% growth last year, but how much did consoles see a growth in? PC gaming isn't dying, not growing as fast as consoles but dying? no.
I agree completely, a few years back I had a freind that I played SSBM all the time irl and it hurt my relationship with him, he never wanted to play anything but final destination or battlefield and no items, SSBB isn't a fighting game like people make it out to be, it's meant to be wacky. Not to say it doesn't happen in other games, but only in super smash brothers can I stick a sword up someones butt then to get shocked by a pikachu and moments later hit with a bomb.
