there is no balance, DRM only hurts legit customers in the end, you can argue that prince of persia failed without DRM but it was already released on console and most PC gamers own consoles to play games that don't come to PC. They probably played it on console before PC came, not fact, but something that is more than likely truth. In reality all DRM does is encourage people to pirate like the DRM ubisoft has with AC2, if you're on the go a lot and have a laptop you will not be able t...
No it'd just be horrible, look at some of the more recent things apple has done, do you want info on a game to leak and then watch any blog that talked about it get threatened to be sued? I don't want to see that happen, it would be a huge step backward and I don't see it happening anytime soon.
I wonder how long it'll be before games have to be registered to your fingerprint so only one person can play them...
It's not a question of could they legally but is it right for them to do so? No it isn't, you bought that PS3 with the features it had, you wouldn't use windows if microsoft was allowed to disable features would you? Of course not. Fanboys will blindly defend sony doing this because they follow them like they're a religious cult.
@Figboy you're completely missing my point and if this was nintendo or microsoft you'd all be apeshi+ fact is the feature was there when they bought it and it should remain there, you can go on about it not being vital all you want but that doesn't change you paid for it to be there. And to be honest, this has impacted whether I will get a PS3 or not, can I trust I'll be able to play game X in the near future? Or will sony release a ban for it because they don't like it or...
I hope sony get sued, you bought the product with those features, not oh it has these now but won't later. You wouldn't buy a car that has new brake pads now but a month later the guy who sold it will come and swap them out with old ones.
Sure HURRR DURR DISCLAIMER shut up, they may be able to do it by dsiclaimer but does that make it right? No.
Sweet, hope it's good, I'm great at monopoly and always dominate when I play it with friends, though a lot of it's up to chance your strategy and play style will factor in to who wins.
Can't say for myself but a friend told me its more like a movie than a game, which I think can be good when done right, though I'd rather play a game than watch a movie when it comes to gameplay aspects, like the attached picture says (though I do think 3D graphics are great as they let you explore more but I gins point with it) I will get around to playing it eventually, but I haven't been real hyped so I'll wait till it's cheaper.
As for this guys com...
heres the whole wii hating train again, I can see the waning interest in motion control and lack of usable online play, I've played a bit online on my wii and it is frustrating putting in numbers, but achievements and it not being HD? Get out, you just play games for shiny graphics and not the gameplay itself. As for the characterization BAAWWWWW THEY DONT KILL EVERYTHING THEY SEE AND BLOOD AND GUTS DONT GO FLYING THIS IS A BAD CHARACTER. Grow up man, nintendo aim themselves at kids, and ...
It depends on the size of screen and how far away you are, so depending on the person 1080p is better or just a waste, have a chart. http://img28.imageshack.us/...
As for me with my TV it's 32" and I sit about 8-10 feet away from it when I play, so according to the chart I wont, but if I was to sit on my bed and play I would, as for PC you're a few feet away from the screen ...
I could waste time typing out a long post about my view on this but foamy states it pretty well for me.
Thing is hes somewhat right, but flash is needed now as most of the web uses it, it'll co-exist for a while, but HTML5 will become the standard in a year or so if adobe don't ramp up their game.
No Avatar happened, and now we see a big push for everything in 3D. Personally I don't want it, I live in a 3 Diminsional world, when I play a game or watch a movie I don't want to be reminded of that.
I have a wii and a 360 but plan to get a PS3 eventually, chose to get a xbox because it has more games and the PS3 didn't have many exclusives at the time I got it, though if I had a PS3 I'd probably get multi-plats for it because of fear of RROD.
Thing is a different platform won't make them make a better game, some may argue blu-ray and such but if you don't think they could on 360 then they can't on PS3 either.
Personally I think it could go either way, they call it halo on steroids but thats more marketing than fact.
Poor guy, thing is most other companies wouldn't care about such a leak but apple does, a few years back there was reportedly a leak about a router from apple and the guy who leaked it was sued like mad. This has really advertised the iPhone a lot but apple won't see that.
Didn't know about this until just now, I'd be fine without more of these crappy tablets, and furthermore I"m getting sick of them being called tablets because they're getting mixed up with the wacom tablets by a lot of people, when apple announced they were making a tablet I thought it'd be something like a wacom tablet but it wasn't.
Well, looks like halos causal now according to the "core" gamers
That comment made me laugh uncontrollably as I imagined that fantastic four guy flaming besides 360 and PS3 fanboys.
Funny he doesn't like it, thing is I hate people like this because they want to start up the thought police HEY YOURE THINKING SEXUALLY ABOUT THIS CHARACTER THAT TOTALLY VIOLATES MY COPYRIGHT
