i think blu-ray is now the golden goose for sony and not the ps3. so many people i know are buying blu-ray players (not just sony ones) and discs..
this probably explains the reluctance of sony to cut the price of the ps3 - sony earning lots of licensing fees as blu-ray becomes the golden goose.
however, the sony head honcho said that a ps3 45n model is coming in june hence i expect a price cut during that period i.e. summer.

achievement and trophies makes people come back to games but does it make the game more fun??
i suppose the answer is probably yes and no.. why? because some achievements/trophies have not been thought out correctly and makes the game so darn frustrating.. but other achievements are actually fun

for me, personally, nintendo is a big let down this generation however i still like them because they are fighting against two companies that could have squashed them too bits.
nintendo deserves credit for achieving what they have done this generation in spite of insurmountable odds.
an inside source is not confirmation. an inside source is still classified as a rumor. even the article doesn't say confirmed (goodness sake the article even says "not confirmed") so how can you add confirmation. how can they release a new psp early when they can't even confirmed that development has been stepped up? this is just plain wrong. sorry to be pedantic but i think this title is misleading.
