Nope, Xim players will still be a thing as long as an official Xbox controller is connected to the device. XIM products don't try to reverse or circumvent security protocols. The authentication controller you use is what the console is talking directly to.

Yikes would be your take. Why is a 2D game nostalgia, when clearly a lot of creativity went into the game? Nintendo knows how to make them and they make them really well. You just sound bitter that it is reviewing well.

Agreed. Nier does it differently, because you get pieces of the story with each play through and slowly expands to the true ending. Nier Automata's final ending will never be bettered....and if it does, I hope I get to play that game someday.

Your logic is flawed by calling it a flop. GSD sales has Starfield at 5 and FF16 at 7. I'll use your logic by calling Starfield a flop because it didn't outsell Hogwarts Legacy, D4 or Zelda which are the titles that sold more from week one sales.
Let's be honest, people aren't going to be roped into it because of a mobile game. People buy iPhones because they like iPhones. Console war mentality doesn't fit this narrative.
