It’s not the full game though. What part of “ Developing Small Chunks at a Fast Pace” don’t you understand? If it was the full game there would be nothing left to develop. I think SE found a new way to milk their fanbase.

Most of Stadia’s titles don’t even stream at 4K even if you’re a pro subscriber. So much for it being more powerful than current consoles combined. Imagine needing to buy older games on Stadia at higher prices and then also pay to stream them. Yeah, it’s a no brained for sure.

But it’s not essential regardless how much you love games. If you want a game badly then get it digitally during the pandemic.

Liquor are consider essential because people with alcohol addiction would land up in a worse situation going cold turkey if they were shut. It’s not right but it’s the reality.

Who hurt you? People get so defensive about games.

Still salty some outlet gave it a 10/10 I see. This guy complains that Nioh 2's review scores are too high but takes offense when some outlet gives the RE3 remake a mediocre score.

lol!

Long development times don’t equate to big games. Duke Nukem was in development for 15 years and still turned out to be below average at best.

PR nonsense! They are probably spending the rest of the budget they had left over from not completing the initial game. What's the bet that the update will break the game........again.

SquareEnix: We are releasing the game in parts because we want to ensure the quality and detail.

CDProjekt has entered the chat.

CDProket: Sorry, could you repeat that?

SquareEnix: SquareEnix has left the chat.

@harmny

It proves nothing and a silly argument. Most AAA games take a lot of time and money to make. Remember the excuse when publishers said the same thing and add "just cosmetics", and look at the majority of the gaming landscape this gen. Square is notorious for announcing games and releasing them years away, and sometimes the wait isn't worth hype. KH3 and FF13 are examples of that. While not terrible games, they didn't live up to the expectation for m...

So it isn't free.

Incoming FF7 brigade to defend this.

Because the industry fails to regulate itself consistently by over-monetizing to the point where it isn't optional anymore. And publishers wonder why countries are talking about legislation when the industry has free reign to make money any way it can.

It worth checking out CAMELOT331 on youtube who used to work for Gamestop and decided to tell all of Gamestop's dirty tactics. He also gets info from current employees on how morale is rock bottom and what management does pressure shop staff to get sales.

Switch players would pay it because of portability.

Look at this child. So afraid of the “port machine” getting a PS game, lol. Never has there been the phrase, “console peasant” been more suitable. I bet you had a minor stroke when No Mans Sky left PS exclusivity.

Call it a port machine all you want, the system is killing it. Nintendo has more than enough exclusives to keep the system alive for years. The ports are ported by third party publishers, it’s their choice to do it and people are buying it. And FYI a lot of ports...

Stadia killed Stadia. No misunderstanding. The pricing model is just ludicrously out of touch and arrogant for thinking they knew better without researching the market.

And Stadia is doing a damn fine job convincing the rest of the world to pick the product /s

The 200 million number you quote are the ones who buy games, systems and services. It is that market they need to convince before anything else. Geforce Now and Xbox Game Streaming are targeting their core demographic and doing a better job offering competent streaming alternatives. You think the rest of the population will somehow start taking up gaming in their millions because of ...

I only found out about it as I follow Tecmo Koei on Twitter. I didn't see many sites mentioning it. As far as I am aware there were 2 beta's. The first was earlier in 2019 to select players. The one from November was available to all but wasn't advertised much.

You'd think right, but "beta" this past generation has mostly been used a glorified demos a few weeks before a release of a game. I was given access to the first Nioh's alpha and betas and the changes to the final product were so different because they listened to feedback which betas should be used for. Unlike Anthem's beta which was the final game.
