For this gen you might be right, but seeing as all major Japanese electronic retailers as well as Amazon and MS Store all sold out their pre-orders in Japan in minutes says that they’re doing something right marketing their next system and services. Credit to MS for trying to break the market here after numerous attempts.

If that’s the case then why has MS struggled this gen? While I agree Nintendo’s online offering is very basic compared to MS, it still didn’t matter as it is still selling extremely well. The goal with theXSS is entice as many gamers as possible whilst getting them to sign up for their services.
Portability is a major factor for the Switch’s success. The switch was already underpowered in release but it didn’t hurt sales in the slightest. Saying to forget about it because the new budget MS system will be out soon is very misguided.

Absolute nonsense. Unreal is a development tool, it has nothing to do with titles that use the engine itself. The problem is solely how Epic tried to sneak in a payment system on Fortnite that bypasses Apple knowing that’s it would break it’s guidelines. Also note that fortnite also got booted off the the play store.
While Sony does put our good TVs saying they surpass image quality is completely false. Your statement was true in the 90s but their competitors have caught up. Korean company’s like LG and Samsung put out products to rival and also surpass Sony Bravia models in many cases. Digital games on consoles are still sold a stupidly higher prices than at retail. Maybe if they released with prices on par with PC then console gamers will embrace full on digital.

Support developers when it is deserved. Just because the dev team is small doesn't automatically they should be supported.

....because that's the problem, the price. With all that google money you'd think they would have shifted their plan to deliver a different service. Besides to 5 people who still play on Stadia, who thinks buying games at a higher price on a service that might not exist on the near future whilst still needing to pay for the privilege to stream the games you bought.

Yep. A lot of players have hit that wall. Once the honeymoon period is over with no chests to loot and places to explore it becomes your bog standard mobile login, do your dailies and 2 to 3 resin events that which 2 or 3 bosses. Also some boss for specific loot can only be battled once a week, enjoin waiting. This game wants to be different but deep down it’s gacha at it worst just look at the rates, 0.7% for a 5 star character or weapon.
