This is why developers need to unionize. Companies like Activision, EA, Ubisoft etc don’t care about developers making their products and profit for shareholders. How many times have we heard about some crunch story? Far too many.

D3 is also a game you buy and play, yet remember how greedy blizzard got and tried implementing an auction house where they got a cut of sales? Can’t compare apples to oranges when blizzard’s “optional” mtx in their paid for titles are just like on mobile…if not worse.

Doesn’t make it right. Square eventually let ps4 players with the ps+ version of FF7 upgrade to the ps5 version. Locking out players out of a FREE upgrade is just bad!
