It's their list! Why so angry? Apparently Horizon is on your list. Nobody is telling you it shouldn't or should be there. The fact that "gamers" get so worked up because some game they like isn't on the list that some media outlet.

Because backseat gamers are a thing, even with single player games. The are some wild takes how someone plays certain games. If it doesn't impact anyone's game but your own then I shouldn't matter....but the Internet loves telling people how to play a game.

Or....devs can make the games they want to make without being lectured to "explore" representation and certain themes. If Pentiment manages to find way to explore those facets, then it was their direction to make it so. Not every developer making a game with a European Medieval setting has to follow that same vision.
The Switch is already easy to pirate and even easier to emulate on your PC a d the steam deck. Piracy is rampart with Switch games but it’s still massively successful and software sales aren’t dropping off.
It’s proof that gamefreak are utter incompetent at optimization. Just look at the other first party Nintendo titles on how well they perform within the hardware’s limitations. XC3 and BoTW are good examples of how they managed to get a complex open world games to work on the system.These new Pokémon games are hardly pushing the limits of the hardware. But I digress, it’s Pokémon and it will sell millions and nothing will change.

Sony already owns a studio that specializes in shooters, Bungie. I highly doubt there will be a new Killzone seeing as Guerrilla Games has had more success with Horizon critically and financially, unless a different studio makes it.
