I would say the vision of the xbox was been tossed out the window in many ways....while PS4 needs some more time for implementation.
Even the menus on the PS4 lag sometimes. It'll all get ironed out in due time.

When Motorstorm (launch title) first came out on PS3 it was easily the best looking first party game of its time.

No that is how the author spun his words... He states that the ability to make games is easier. Implying that ps3's almost 100% different architecture made it harder. But now both systems are built like standard pc's therefore it's easier.
The author says the power differences to get hits and pull different words to make his point.

This is a pretty capitalist country which means things are based off of supply and demand, with that being said your confidence in your product can only ever be as high as the consumers demand for that product...higher demand equals higher confidence higher production etc, lower demand means less confidence and could lead to dropping the product.
