I totally agree with you 100% MART. This game simply is not an exclusive title , case closed , really. The facts are all there , they refuse to say it is exclusive. It is also not the way Ubisoft does business. It is more of a fact when you read the info from major ggaming sites that this game is multiplatform than a exclusive to any system. Only problem is it is completly possible the game could suck. So I actually don't mind waiting to see what happens. Another thing is is Assassins Creed enough to make you get a PS3 if you don't want one, certainly not for me at least.
Thst is a different animal all together. Gears of War is an ANNOUNCED 360 exclusive. Assassins creed has not been officially announced as a PS3 exclusive yet. I doubt it ever will. The game industry shows that are upcoming will be the test. If they announce this game as an exclusive then there you have it , if they don't and say things like "confirmed for initial release on PS3" then you can be sure it is multi platform.
We are all getting played. The gaming industry is all about rumors , speculations and buzz. You are so right about the tactics they use. It is actually sad though ( I'm not being patronizing ) how the PS3 camp is taking the systems decline. I mean that. With industry analysts coming out and saying they can see the PS3 in third place this console cycle after doing actual research. You have to understand that is Gamecube territory from last generation , ouch.
It's important to understand that it is about over for the Playstation brand as far as industry dominance goes. I really find it disturbing that thier supporters are reacting this way to the brands decline with consumers , you know Nintendo fans did the same thing during it's decline , it must hit like a ton of bricks. Also a game like Assassins Creed is definetly not GTA , it won't be a system seller of that caliber. Also when most people understand it will actually be multi platform. Sorry....
It's that it's Ubisoft. They don't do exclusives. I understand what your saying though. We got Ghost Recon and didn't bat an eyelash.
Edit: Also the fact that Ubisoft has stated it's not a PS3 exclusive. They will only say at this time the game is only confirmed for the PS3. That really is your answer right ther. That is actually how they talked about the original Splinter Cell.
I can totally see your point. That's exactly how I feel when another FF game is announced , "It's just another FF game I won't be playing."

Listen at this point with everything I have seen there really is no rumor to this. Assassins Creed is not EVER going to be a console exclusive. No Ubisoft published game has ever been a console exclusive. Even the Over G Fighter game does not say "Only for XBOX" on it.
There is no fight or rumor about this , I think it is safe to say this game is a timed exclusive for PS3 and that is ALL! There is no way a 3rd party title of this production value from a company that is fendi...

This graphics are poor. I will say one thing they do look early. I also find it strange that when we are shown CG the PS3 fans are saying " behold , true next gen graphics." buut when we see these poor examples not a peep. It sort of ruins their credibility.

Actually they did on multiple occassions say THIS GAME IS NOT A PS3 EXCLUSIVE , In many different ways.. What does that mean to you? I will not waste my time posting links or you that you will probably call faked. Just look it up yourself.
First off we all just need to wait on this one. We ALLLL know it will be multiplatform , because of the announcement by Ubisot that it is NOT a PS3 exclusive. We have to wait though if you own a 360 I really think this is a timed exclusive. Ubi gave us GRAW and Splintercell DA as an exclusive and timed ecclusive. Let's not get spoiled , HAHA. This game will be a definite buy for me WHEN it comes out on 360.

The game is allright. It has a corny storyline patently Japanese. The graphics are passable and don't ruin the experience. I found that if you use strategy like constantly using your wingman to cover you and attack your target I like the game better. Manuverability can gat frustrating especially at low altitude because I noticed they really simmed that up , if you just turn it is sluggish if you use your flaps and rudders it works better.
