Sony is giving themselves close to half the time then. Tall order.
This is actually on topic. Does anybody know when Microsoft started production ? That would be a good gauge as to how many PS3 Sony can produce.
Guys , we all know they are not compressing. This is Sony propaganda , plain and simple. We are all gamers here. Think back to a huge RPG you played like Oblivion or FF with alot of cutscenes. Now imagine a FPS , a FPS, that they are essentially claiming is 4 to 5 times the size and scope. Even if you suppot the PS3 you have to admit it's wierd.
I mean I'm not shocked I understand that there will be alot less exclusives this time around. I have no idea why they would stamp it exclusive ( with contracts and money changing hands ) then have it realease on a different system 3 months later! Ha what was the point??
Really this is odd. This title is stamped as an XBOX exclusive. I have a feeling the PS3 is going to be waiting a long while like 2008. If it was a timed exlusive of under 6 months they would not stamp it an XBOX exclusive.
I thought Japan was considered a handheld market at this point anyway. Wasn't there a month when all thier top 10 sales were DS games?

This guy essentially said XBox will gain 200,000 customers from this PS3 shortage. As a parent of an older child this is how it would go down for me.

It's not coming to PS3. It has an ONLY ON XBOX 360 stamp on the game. That means they have it writing signed by lawyers that it's only for 360.
What do you think the high number of PS3's available at any given retail location will be? Can they even take pre orders?
This is a paper launch. You are so right. Figure 1 to 3 PS3 in major stores only. I doubt they can take pre orders. Ther is already rumors going around of more cancelled titles for the PS3 because of this news.

I am a huge fan of big open world games. Saints Row is also GTA only better , so Volition is a developer that goes on my Buy list with Bethesda and UbiSoft.
