Sounds like a typically erratic Cryptic release.
Can't believe we've still got over a year to wait for TOR.
I just love the idea of open worlds where the main objective is something other than creating havoc.
To be fair, not many devs can afford to make games exclusively for PC anymore with all the piracy
I agree, sometimes developers pander too much to "accessibility." There's no harm in a bit of challenge.
Outside of Solitaire and flight sims, I'm guessing not.
Incredible financial performance during a worldwide financial crisis
God, Kotick irritates me.
The visual improvement from BC1 and BC2 is impressive.
It's supposed to be a game about survival, though. Isn't ammo scavenging part of that?
Same guys that did the first STALKER, right? That was a pretty punishing game at times too, as was Clear Sky. Remember being robbed of all of my armour/weapons at one point without being able to do anything about it.
Yup, it is completely different. No doubt some people won't 'get' Heavy Rain, but as the review says it's an unforgettable experience.
The Golden Guns sound pretty good though - fame bonus = more side missions. Can't be a bad thing.
Is it just me that's skeptical about the “sophisticated technological forensics”?
Dustbin?
Indeed, must be some major work to do.
Must be those 1m accounts it has...
Pretty fair review IMO. It was never going to pack the same punch as the first game.
See, I agree with the review on the setting thing. Much of the atmosphere has gone IMO, because we've seen Rapture before. I know it's an integral part of the story but I'd personally want to see Rapture in a different time period if at all.
I honestly don't care about the visuals so long as they sort out the off-board controls this time. While it was nice to be able to get off the board in Skate 3, the fact that your skater was about as manouevrable as Stephen Hawking made it a bit pointless.
