I don't know if you got into it too late or what. But the more that got to experience it, the more recognition it got. Simple. That's why you might think it's overrated but in reality it is just that good.
From a technical and story point of view it pushed the ps3 to its limit. And it was something new from Naughty Dog as well!
Low score, so when a movie gets a 7 it's good but a game that is over 5 which should be the middle of a 1-10 scale is low... WTF is happening, a 7 is a solid game with some issues but not game breaking in my opinion. If you like that type of game, if it resonates with some of the things you like in games then this is a solid good game.
I know it could be better but a 7 is not LOW! 100$ is a lot, 70$ apparently is little by this article.
