I don't base my GOTY on price 😂 We are built different. I can handle a bigger cost as long as it's a fully packaged well made game which Expedition 33 was. Fraction? 20$ VS 40$ Wouldn't call it fraction.

Yes, All of them might've been. I'm saying time to put some of them on there again! I have friends who bought ps5 now. They have none of those games. I'd rather have something new mixed with 1st party strong titles again than these fluff-games.

I didn't say I believe everything they are saying. I believe in them more than anyone else in this business because I feel they do not shy away from getting into specifics. Lot's of ppl just try to say something and then there's no source or no explanation as to why. Just saying it for reactions, clicks you name it.
These guys love the field they work in and I can feel that when I listen to them. That might be just for me but I enjoy them a lot.

I guess why it's mostly used is because how easily you get something good looking. That would be my first guess. The other is that it seems kinda simple to work in. I have a developer background.
I'm no wizard in UE5 but I have used it a bit and I know 0 coding more or less and within the engine you can code visually if you will.
So might be that it's so easy to get something "working" with that engine.

But they are directly working with Epic on this. Even DF was surprised how well the Witcher 4 Tech Demo ran that well without stutters, it was 60 smooth.
So I guess at least with CDPR Epic is putting a lot of resources to get it running smooth on Witcher 4 and hopefully CP2
I mean it has some stutters but overall. I have still around 80 fps and it works "fine" otherwise!
Played 2 hours for now. But also I'm not that picky, I'm used to the UE stutter haha.
I'm very flexible as a gamer and somewhat forgiving. I just like to enjoy and try new games and with Game Pass this is perfect to try out this type of game on my PC :D
