Yeah, I agree on what you are saying too. I haven't written any C++ myself in that engine. But I'm pretty early in the stages of creating a game with a small group.

From what I've heard, Frostbite is chaos to develop and build in. ME studio didn't even know how to rewrite the engine to rpg and dice had to be hands on and didn't know themselves how to do it.
Dice is the only "master" of the engine itself and even they have issues. So I don't believe it's better or more well documented than epic games Unreal Engine.
The UE engine sits on to many too good games that runs way better than BF ...

I have great memories of the game and got it platinum on ps5.
But yeah it was broken AF.
This is most likely before day 1 patch. Several revs state that most of the glitches they encountered was fixed in the patch. Something like 80% I would guess.
So I think 7.5 might be valid but I wouldn't give it less if it's really good at least!

I think the budget on this type of game is most likely through the rough compared to a lot of other open world games.
Inspiration and borrowing/stealing is common in a lot of games. You take something and every once in a while there's this gaming company that will make it to the next level and then everyone else will build upon that in newer games.

Yeah you're right but they said if there is a newer console generation you might be able to get it for that. I chose for PS4. But maybe I can request a PS5 now instead. Gonna look into it! :)
