More PSSR issues (seems to always be UE5 games). I dont understand why some games only offer one graphical mode on the Pro. If theres issues with it youre screwed. Offer the same modes as the base PS5 too, you'd automatically get improvements then and you still have the Pro only mode as well.
As much as I'd love MGS1 and 2, it isn't right MGS4 is locked to the PS3
Now compare a $400 PC to them. PC will always be ahead because of the amount you can spend. If you do like for like it isnt

A 1TB SSD card is under £50 here. Given they slashed £90 off the console you're still getting the PS and 1.8TB of storage for over £40 cheaper than it was. Thats a bit better than them knocking 175gb off the console

Isnt a chance its anywhere near that. The last time Sony overpriced a base console it was a disaster. Sony need numbers on their consoles to sell games. They have to appear to the casual gamer. It wont even be more expensive than the Pro. Anything more is financial suicide for game sales.

Yeah but even with the tariffs. MS are a 4 trillion dollar company, theres zero reason for a console that came out 5 years ago to be $150 more expensive when it costs less to produce. They could eat this $50, they'd sell more units to make up some cost rather than look like idiots
Never played this series before and recently played the 1st 3 of these. Wish I hadn't now with the remake 😂 then again though my backlog is becoming massive lately, so many games.
What on earth? 799 for a Series X with 2TB and the Pro price was tagged and laughed at the most expensive console ever 🙃 here in the UK there's sales on all PS models (digital PS5 for 339) It's like they actually don't want to sell any. Consoles are much more cheaper to make than 2020 and the Series X is $150 more expensive than then. Baffling
Is everyone at this company braindead (well the talent clearly left to make E33). Why mess with one of the most well recieved games you have. Update the graphics, quash the bugs, and maybe 'improve' some aspects from the original. All this RPG stuff isnt needed in everything. Leave it alone
Started off really well but gotta say PSSR isnt doing too well lately. Is it developer issues? Perhaps things will change with the big update next year. Hopefully.

This is like samsung coming out and saying you can only buy our charger to charge your phone. They'd get hung for it and rightly so. There's nothing wrong at all with any USB C charger unless youre buying something off TEMU.

Do people genuinely care about this? Im a big PS fan and all I see it as more people playing the games and more chance of sequels to games if they sell more. You're very odd if it actually bothers you.
@RavenWolfX I was going off UK prices converted to dollars as more use those here
