This article is dumb. Sure HL2 isn't that good NOW but when it CAME OUT it was quite the game.
This dude should write an article on how he's a n00b and should play games when they come out and not 10 years later.
I mean, take ANY older game that was special and it doesn't hold up that well today. Even games like Super Mario Bros was top notch in the 80's but compared to platformers today it pales in comparison over all (don't get me wron...
Who is Twinfinite and why should we care?
No it's just updated graphics. Tomb Raider Anniversary was a complete remake. This game however is not.
True but look at what it does though. Not to mention the RAM in the PS3 for graphics is only 256MB.
When looking at the new consoles however ~6GB of VRAM is more than enough. The GPU alone couldn't dream of saturating that much RAM.
Simply put, if the GPU in my PC with it's 3GB of VRAM has no issue pushing 1440p with more graphic settings maxed, better textures, etc then there's no way in hell that a ~7870 GPU would have issues with 6GB.

Don't understand your down votes but just like you I would like to know more as well.
If they're talking about bandwidth then yes, I could see there being possible issues...or at the very least I "get" the problem that could cause. With only ~175GB of bandwidth on the PS4 for example I can understand how that COULD be an issue when you have the CPU and GPU writing and reading information off the same pool of RAM.
One thing that I KNOW isn...
I call straight B.S.
Either the article is fake or developers need to learn how to better optimize their games.
If my AMD HD 7970 can push much better graphics and frame rates at 1080p with only 3GB of RAM then ~6GB should NEVER EVER be a problem on the consoles. More so considering their much weaker GPU's (the GPU in the PS4 is LESS than HALF the Tflops of my 7970).
I can run Assassins Creed 4, for example, at 1080p with all settings ma...
This makes zero sense. Down voted.
Bioshock Infinite? Really?
For one I don't see how next-gen would help. Even on my high-end PC the only differences are basically higher resolution and frame rate. The actual 3D assets are pretty bad as well as textures.
However, I do find the game pretty damn overrated. Certainly one of the biggest gaming disappointments I've ever had. Sooo maybe I'm a bit biased here but my point still remains.
If they want to port games they...
I don't think the WiiU's CPU is that good. For one it's based on the same architecture as the Game Cube's CPU. It's a triple core with each core running at 1.4GHz.
So you're basically talking about the same processor from the 12 year old Game Cube times three with a faster speed.
The Xbox 360 on the other hand is using a more advanced and just plain newer architecture. It as well is a triple core but runs at 3.2GHz per core.

$400 with no shifter and/or load cell brake? PFT!
Cool story bro. Unfortunately this goes against everything we've seen so far and certainly has little to no merit in reality.
Seems like simple click bait to me.
WTF?! ELECTRONICS CAN SOMETIMES FAIL OR BE DOA?!?! STFU!!! I know that no other technology sectors like OTHER CONSOLES, cell phones, computers, T.V.'s, etc don't have ANY of these problems.
I'll ignore my Galaxy S3 that broke three times back to back...
Seriously though, stories like these are ridiculous. Anything made by anyone can break. Hell, buddy of mine just got a new Mac Pro TODAY and his screen is getting some artifacting (possible GPU is...
Well thank goodness people have opinions, eh? I certainly know I'm far from the only person that feels this way!
Either way...as a FPS in my eyes it was mediocre over all with the story being the only quasi-interesting part. Even then though it wasn't THAT good if you've ever watched or read any sci-fi in the past 10 years.
As a Shock game it is easily the weakest of them all. Ending felt straight made up and had no place in the over all series. ...
Bioshock Infinite...still, even after all this time, am pissed that this game was so bad. Repetitive, uninspiring characters and levels, mediocre graphics, etc.
Definitely my personal worst of 2013.
I like the thought of game companies re-releasing games on next-gen. I think it would be cool (and honestly make sense) for them to release some of the higher-end PC versions of games on next-gen like Crysis 1, 2, and 3...Metro 2033 and Last Light, etc. I mean, the power is there, they could max the games out (or come close) and really breath new life into older games that still look and play great.
Only issue so far with this that we've seen is price. Like with the Tomb ...
Are you serious? You understand that the Chinese government has more money than the US right? You understand that they're a communist country and can MAKE people do what they want right?
The US is spying on everyone NOW and have LESS money and LESS resources to do so.
That's not even a little bit plausible? Pshh...you wish!!!
Don't understand all the "Disagree" you have. Some people instantly see "PC" and think ELITIST!!!
These dimwits don't seem to realize that the PC is very popular in different parts of the world. South Korea for example is like the PC capital of the world with the PC gaming population being far larger than that of console players.
Whatever though...I gave you an "Agree" and a balloon. Some people just don't understand ...
Not only more racing games but, like the PS3, the PS4 should be able to support all racing wheels or at least a majority of the more popular ones (Logitech, Fanatec, Thrustmaster, etc).
Something that I believe MS won't allow. I know they didn't on the Xbox 360 while so far only one wheel is said to have support.
You are aware that many would play those games if they were, ya know, ON THE PS4 or X1!
(-_-)
"LOL" at the disagree's. Why? Because I make sense or something? No one comprehends things anymore apparently.
