Lol EA made enough money on this alone WITHOUT even taking into account all the billions they will take from suckers with FIFA Ultimate Team. What does that mean? Shut down Amy Hennig's Star Wars game of course and other such disastrous decisions related to gaming outside of your annual FIFA release.
Hopefully all it will take is a few million people to get burned by something like this on a huge game and then they become a lot more weary about this type of "gaming" going forward and are more cautious with their wallets.

Exactly, I still use a Youtuber like Angry Joe as a perfect example. Even if he thinks he is doing good he is STILL promoting these games by doing any videos of them at all. Then an event like Paris Games Week comes and goes and he doesn't do a single mention on it whatsoever let alone a single game that was at it

Not only that, it was released the same day as Cliffy B's new game, the guy that said the days of self funded triple A games are dead. When the FIRST Kingdom Hearts game came out in 2001/2002 we already had all the most important FF characters that could have showed up, or at least over 90% leaving out FFXII characters. 15 years later all we have is characters from XIII or XV to show up but who cares about that noise lol.

True, by the time they do FFVII-2 and FFVII-3 we will certainly already be in next gen. This should have started development in 2013 so the SECOND one would be releasing around now and the 3rd part in another year or 2 to round out the gen. Would have been even quicker to just cancel the time waster FFXV too.
