Much like on Xbone too, although if you get an Xbone with Live for Xmas you CAN'T go back and grab any games that disappear off Gold in the middle of the month. At least those 6 PS Plus games are there for an entire 4 weeks straight for somebody Christmas morning including extras Until Until Dawn: Rush of Blood for new VR users and That's You! for Play Link fun. The Cross Buy even makes it 3 PS4 games too since the VIta game is also playable on PS4.
So, going by Xbo...
Sony offers 6 games every single month on PS Plus, most of the time they are cross buy across 3 different consoles, for the last 4 years straight since November 2013 (and we know it was around long before that too since 2010).
That is not a "crisp" lol. For the first month that Xbone was out you got ZERO games with Games with Gold, so not even a crisp and it took a long time to actually get decent. BTW, a garbage game like Thief, is not a pint and a packet of pea...
Sorry, I just don't play online multiplayer parts to games no matter how awesome they are.
@maybelovehate "Days Gone is really the only game that will probably have any lasting appeal.. but will it actually be a better game that State of Decay 2?"
Lol, what??? That's the only thing I saw from what you typed. Seriously? You want an answer to that? Did you SEE the state (lol) of the State of Decay 2 trailer from E3 2017?
Yes, yes and yes. Days Gone by Sony Bend, a reputable developer, will be a better game than a game by an incompetent develo...
I still don't understand it, just like I don't understand how Minecraft, 5 Nights at Freddy's, Roblocks and Hello Neighbor are "popular" either.
@jbeard There is no HDR support in Smite, yet you were still blown away by it's HDR somehow lol? It doesn't have enhanced textures either. So, yeah, exposed. From Xbox's very own page https://www.reddit.com/r/xb...
You all need to take a step back and stop making up and over blowing everything out of proportion when it comes to Xbone...
But nothing compared to the good old legal and universal drug called alcohol which probably killed 250 people in 1 day.
Wanted a new UI? Well lucky for you they change it every year with more to come.
You wanted BC, as in full 100% BC, well you aren't getting that, you got partial BC and after 2 years, 15% of the 360 back catalogue up from 7% in 2015.
Wanted more power? Hand us over another 500 quid like you did in 2013 and you got it.
Want another mediocre 343i Halo game that stands up nowhere to Bungie's once great series? Here is Halo 5. But...
Ori, one of the greatest single player games of the generation??? No, on Xbox it certainly is but why stop there, its one of the greatest games on Xbone period and that is saying something even though Ori is on GOG too. What does that have to do with Xbox specifically and its owners though?
EA Access? That company we are all boycotting now, you are using as a defence? Isn't Cross Play not even available on Halo Wars 2 even though it is assumed by people (even by you apparently) ...
I was dumbfounded by that in 2013 let alone going into 2018.
@Bigpappy The same place you are 4 years into a console's life again. A bleak and uneventful future for the rest of the gen. That's where you literally are without his wisdom and intellect.
Seriously why is that such an argument. What are you trying to get at here? Does that mean that every single genre or game that doesn't win overall GOTY are worth ignoring?
Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice, the perfect example right now of a "stick that up your a** big publishers" linear game. And it didn't cost 50 million to make like the average EA game either.
Okay then, Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice, its definitely nominated for something at the Game Awards but I'm sure it will win overall game of the year from somebody over any EA or Xbox game.
And that is the perfect example of a commercially successful and critically praised game that would have ironically been RUINED had somebody like EA been involved with its development.
So in other words, its not illegal to be a greedy c*** so they are going to a greedy c***. Thank goodness no other dev makes this a top priority like EA does.
And now they are ultimately making less money on their newest game than they ever though possible due to bombing sales and forced removal of micro transactions by Disney. Hope it worked out well for them.
And the funniest thing is they have nobody to blame but themselves ^_^
@ULTp0ltergeist Yeah, those disappointing Star Wars Battlefront II numbers. Sony are the ones grooming the next generation and will show us the way. Its starts when they say so.
But EA is right about one thing, I never buy crappy linear EA games.
@freshslicepizza All you did was name 2 games that have made money in that area. Meanwhile we have flops like Lawbreakers, Battleborn and Evolve that fight against your case, even Marvel Heroes is a great example...
Onimusha 2 Remaster is all I need. I only ever remember playing through the first one once back in the day and it was a very "early PS2" affair with that similar half a second pause when it switches the camera shot from one prerendered background screen to the next.
The second one was when things kicked into overdrive and it still hold ups well today much like RE REmake. The 3rd one was a step back for me, going with less impressive 3d environments and that whole Jean Reno ...
Hopefully they take the feedback on board about making Japanese voices an option in it. Thank goodness this game was announced because just like they mention in the article, I thought there was trouble afoot at Sucker Punch since we had not heard anything from them in 3 years.
@VforVideogames Oh, when you put it that way, you totally aren't a liar that you ever owned a Pro. /s
