It was a great show alright and they are only getting started, still PSX to look forward to. Fingers crossed we get that Spyro G. Nasty Trilogy announcement.
Don't forget TGS, there were even some nice new games at that too. And at the VGAs there will be more 3rd party game announcements for PS4 too.
Except GT Sport doesn't have micro transactions so try again.
Of course they didn't say that "Hardware sales are still important", I don't see anything that throws this question up.
Lol, they said it is getting more relevant for them.
"Hardware sales are still important, but the number of monthly active users is getting more relevant."
This is not the same thing Microsoft said in December 2013 that the number of monthly active users is the ONLY important thing to them going forward. Relax people, we will still get our sales milestones.
The footage in 1080p is basically a standard PS4 though. People claimed that Horizon Zero Dawn's E3 2015 debut footage was from "PS4 Neo" long before devs even had their hands on it. And it ended up looking BETTER than that at launch on standard PS4.
@moldybread Then you have obviously never played Uncharted 4 or The Lost Legacy where the cutscenes can transition straight from a one shot cutscene directly into gameplay.
Why are you comparing 2 completely different locations from the game? Here is the exact bit that makes sense that you want with that screenshot you provided. https://youtu.be/Ow2cL-pp6p...
Here is a cutscene from The Lost Legacy <...
I actually tried to attend that Gamercon event last March as a Xmas present and it was a pure disaster. Never got in the doors. They were still selling tickets for the event on the day of the event yet it was full when they let the initial queue into the place.
They somehow "assumed that people would go home and not stick around for the whole day for all the daily planned events (yeah because who would want to stay for something they paid for) so more people would be a...
Nobody wants Assassin Creed combat game Ryse that requires little skill will silly QTEs. The first Knack has better realtime combat that requires actual skillful dodging and timing.
I HAVE Ori and Cuphead on CD Projekt Red's GOG service. So that just leaves some racing series I never cared for and have easily avoided the last 12 years and an online only pirate plundering thingy that nobody is going to be playing a week after launch anyway.
Really? That's it...
Lets not get ahead of ourselves and see how it turns out. Imagine they ruined the controls of the greatest horse in videogame history by taking away her, butter smooth and amazing in combat, tank controls.
You just point her where you want her to run and then use the lock on enemy camera to keep your eye of the colossus.
Because at that point they were still doing that crap "Hitman The Complete First Six Levels and Uh Oh, That's It I Guess".
I hope they do a proper sequel to Absolution down the line because............... Hitman 2016 (dammit NOT the movie, the game or that one third of a game) was certainly was not it.
Lol, The Last of Us Part II has had 2 showings now without a single shred of gameplay. "DERP ARE THEY AFRAID TO SHOW OFF THE GAMEPLAY? DERP IS IT THAT BAD? HERP DERP A HERP A DERP."
That's you, that's what you just said. By that logic, Crackdown 3, Recore and Halo Wars 2 are pure gameplay garbage because they were revealed with CG trailers.
Actually this kind of inengine trailer reminds me of the Infamous Second Son debut trailer that wa...
It gave a sneak peak of gameplay right at the end in that fast cut action. Of course you care if it was in engine or not because had it not been you would be saying it was just awful because it was just a CG trailer that gives no indication of what to expect visually even though we pretty much got what to expect from it now.
I didn't vote for you either way even though I still disagree. It could easily come next year given Naughty Dog's very consistent development time.
People forget the original TLOU came out only a year and a half after Uncharted 3. Uncharted 4, even with it having to go back to the drawing board at one point, launched on a next gen system and only less than 3 years after TLOU.
I don't see how another PS4 game by ND would take them 4 years to make this t...
Don't look at the first game Uncharted 2, 3 AND 4 the same. Uncharted through to 3 and The Last of Us's cutscenes consisted of video files that were placed on the PS3 bluray disc with the cutscenes created with ingame assets at a slightly better level of detail and post effects.
Uncharted 4's cutscenes were all 100% ingame with the cutscene going straight into gameplay seamlessy with the camera just positioning in 3rd person behind the character.
It is the same f...
@Angainor7 Lol then put more effort into it. Making up nonsense, while simultaneously making the thing you are trolling out to be even BETTER, is fail trolling at its best.
Of course he would have actually known that if he was real fan and not a pretend fan. Its clearly not Ashley Johnson voicing the character either, another dead giveaway had he played the first game. And he needed Clickers to know that was the ND engine lol?
The "Remastered" version certainly will. This trailer was pure standard PS4 run of the mill stuff.
Epic? We can scratch another game off the "enhanced games at launch on Nov 7th for XboneX". PUBG is the newest casualty with "4K" support coming "later down the road". http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
Oh and its another game that has Crossplay support with another platform but has no...
