Don't forget the 3rd parties too with more probably being announced at the Video Game Awards and PSX. They both go hand in hand. The Wii U is pure proof that solid exclusives alone won't keep a console from flopping.

Err Epic Games are their own studio. They were never owned by Microsoft ever. But yeah, they certainly had a good thing going with them but I don't recall hearing anything about a wedge coming between them or nothing like that.
Samaritan was definitely an Unreal 3 tech demo and tech demo it was indeed. Not once is there a wide shot in it of an open map or even a linear level. Its just a tech demo contained in a tiny little area of a street with careful camera angles to hide other areas off.
Should we hit the reset on that counter right now or just ignore all the unsuccessful Xbox exclusives this gen with more right around the corner like Sea of Thieves?

Why? Look at the AMOUNT of other games by developers that aren't ready for XboneX launch day. PUBG isn't even going to have enhancements ready for XboneX on Dec 12th, over a month after XboneX is out.

There is playing a game and then there is not being able to enjoy a game because of the tech issues. PS4 and PS4 Pro, do not have this problem fortunately.

The Digital Foundry guys said Horizon is an essential purchase for any type of PS4 console owner though.
