The funniest thing is if you asked the question "Can The Xbox One Outperform The PS4?" a year ago, all the dedicated fanboy were still screaming the answer "YES" and the excuses were all around the lines of hidden 2nd GPUs, DX12 and Cloud Powaaa. So true when you think of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. ICO didn't have much music except during cutscenes. When you are searching around for a Colossus you don't hear any music. Then you have multiple tracks that play during the battle, slower paced eerie music when the creature is out of reach and taunting you and then more louder and epic when on the creature. Also the music in Shadow isn't even a massive orchestra. Its a very small number of people with specific instruments ...
Probably not. These things happen with time and hindsight. If it WASN'T a big deal (that we are told day after day) that PS4 and Xbone launched pretty much in the same 2 weeks and one was substantially more powerful than the other (with utter hilarity), then it is hardly a big deal when one side panics and tries to rush out a solution.
The Xbox 360 had the advantage last gen with its easy to develop for, from the start, architecture. That didn't stop PlayStation abs...

Because of the existence of MGS V, MGS IV is even more a masterpiece now and an even more beautiful end to an amazing era and characters.

And QB is hardly on upgrade on Alan Wake running at practically the same resolution on a next gen console 6 years later. The PS2 like human animations that don't even hold a candle to Uncharted 3 is what obviously holds QB back too.
@Vasto And yet Gears of War 4 isn't been made by the team that made the series what it is. The exact same thing can be said for Halo Wars 2 (and if its being made by 343i god help you all) and Crackdown 3 (been handed over to yet another studio after the 2nd game). Rare obviously have zero credibility today and we all know that.

Exactly. Every year we see nobodies saying the same thing over and over and yet they never look at the facts and history to make an educated speculation. Rockstar generally announce a new game whenever they feel like it with a massive Debut trailer. It never happens at E3. End of.
Exactly and you would have assumed PS4 and Xbone would have been similar launching even within the same week and yet Sony went with "future proof" GDDR5 and Xbox stuck with DDR3 and a bizarre eSRAM bottleneck that caused nothing but problems since launch. Even Microsoft were blown away and took off guard how underpowered the console was. They had to overclock and bin the Kinect reserved resources to get some/any of the power back at all.

Really? Is that correct? This is the same site that gave that bogus list of games for gold just a few days ago, a day or 2 before its announcement and were off the mark by 200 miles? Yeah I'm sure they nailed this.
You could say that about Gran Turismo 3 :) GT 3 even had the most amazing dust in the rally tracks on the game. Even the newest Dirt game doesn't compare.

I'm surprised he did one at all. Notice how he mentions he needs to go back and play the 3 other games in the Nathan Drake Collection. I really wanted him to play them before this game came out but he obviously didn't have the time.
So the Rapid Fire review makes more sense, he wouldn't have been able to do the game justice with a full review, definitely not the same way he did reviews of the sequels to Mass Effect or Dragon Age as he had more passion and history with tho...
Thank goodness because if it wasn't, making it on Unreal 4 engine for PS4 only would have been a complete waste. If it was a PS4 exclusive, then make a new game engine from the ground up built for PS4 like every Tekken up to Tekken 5.
