For me fun is never the wrong topic when talking about games. A shame gamers nowadays care so much about numbers.
I don't care what other people are buying, the most sold console or games. I like what I think is fun, and that's all. Or are you going to say you buy something because everybody does? True there are some good games in PS4, some in Xbox One, but most of the good games for me are in the Wii U, and that's all there's to it. I rank the consoles by how much fun I have with them, I know it's an innocent view, but hell, isn't fun the essence of gaming?
My favorite console of all time is Playstation 2, and that's why I can say: Sony is going to sh*t. PS2 is still better than PS3 and PS4 IMO, I'm quite disappointed. One of the things I most hate is when people discuss about consoles using numbers like PC gamers. I'm a PC gamer too and I thought I'd be free of the specifications with the consoles but it got even worse with lots of kids who have no idea what they are talking about. That's why I like Nintendo. I still have no...
PS4. Then third Xbox One :D Wii U first \o/
Whatever people say, this is my opinion. And whatever people say, this article is your opinion. The End.
xD couldn't agree more. I only have the Steam GOTY one but anyways it's the best Elder Scrolls IMO and I'd love a remaster
Elder Scrolls Morrowind, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Deus Ex. At least these are the ones that come to mind...
@Raf1k1 exactly. Just look at 3840x1080 - 25.39%. Lots of people doing AMD eyefinity or NVidia Surround hehe
Nintendo!
I never played it but by what my friends say about it this game indeed looks awesome. What I don't like are articles and comments that goes like "ND is the best studio ever, X studio should learn from them". Each studio has its own characteristics, and that's why we have such diversity in gaming. I don't care about the love for the game, but the love for the studio, yeah, it's overrated.
If I got it right the only thing the guy said was that the consoles' architectures aren't optimized to path-finding algorithms. This means sh*t about overall performance. Misleading title.
@epicgrinds don't underestimate old games. If you know nothing about them, don't talk about them. If hardcore for you means shooting, killing, graphics then, well, it's not even worth talking. But if you mean difficult (*hard(core)*) games, then the past is full of them. Including Nintendo's games.
No, they shouldn't stop experimenting. If no one do it, the only thing we'll be getting in the next consoles is better graphics, because Sony and Microsoft don't like to take risks. And if that happens, it's the same as upgrading a PC every few years.
@tommygunzII then probably there would be something wrong with your internet
I recently bought a GTX 770 and my Phenom II 6 cores 3.2GHz wasn't able to keep up. Although once I OC'ed it to 3.9GHz things started to go smoothly. It's not that easy to keep up with a GPU.
@Grap 0.1GHz equals 100.000.000 more operations per second. In what universe this means nothing?
TLOU just launched wtf people need it remastered for? Go remaster Deus Ex, Elder Scrolls Morrowind, SW: Battlefront II, whatever, but not something that just released...
Of course I was talking about open beta, I'm just saying that about 5 years ago there would be no such thing and nowadays lots of games are going for it. Not complaining, just hope SP focused games with story and all don't start using it as well - IMO it would ruin the first time experience.
It makes sense, I've only being in MMOs beta so I wasn't aware there were public beta for games like LBP.
Why does LBP needs beta? I like LBP but it looks like beta is getting overused nowadays isn't it?
I loved the PS2, my favorite games of all time, the ones that made me a gamer, made me really like games, are there. So I think PS3/PS4 are actually a personal deception, as they didn't come to achieve the same thing. In the PS3 generation, the PS3 had a very slow start because of its incredible power (it was so ridiculously powerful, a technology from 2006 could run The Last of Us hehe). Although I didn't like the games as much as PS2, I recognize that it had this good point.
