Not a great fan of either...but my 8 year old son loves Fortnight. He's finished No.1 a few times now.
Point is he's trying to undermine anything remotely positive about the game. Just like he did when they said Heavy Rain sold 5.3 million, you know, because that was bundled with consoles as well.
Still wouldn't matter. The hate for MS is cross generational.
Yeah, cause always online and microtransactions is the same as setting up concentration camps and bombing civilians.
Why did he leave? Its not like the Konami/Kojima partnership had not already worked for a couple of decades...
Your must be joking. Look at how many people are involved and think about how salaries have changed. Those two factors alone make game development even more expensive today.
Game Pass is obviously not aimed at you so why not use some common sense. However, lets say someone just picked up their first XB1 and wanted an instant game library...
Guess you really hate on Netflix as well then.
People on this site act as though AAA games are being made for the same or less than AAA games from 10 years ago. Its simply not the case!
@Ultra:
What if the only way to sustain SP games from a commercial perspective was to hide them behind a digital paywall like Xbox Game Pass and Playstation Now? Studios are still looking for ways to maximise return on game development and killing second hand game sales is still firmly in their sights.
Sony already have deliver GaaS in the form of Playstation Now. I wonder what different means to Sony moving forward.
I personally dont see the problem. We are all wanting more reasons to not buy EA games this is yet another one.
Unfortunately we're going to have to wear the cost of helping EA fail and taking a lot of good studios and IPs with them. That is of course unless EA see the error of their ways and....yeah, not even worth finishing that line of thought.
Neither the PS4 or XB1 were a proper generational advance IMO. Largely because both Sony and MS gimped their respective consoles by opting for a CPU designed for tablets.
@Mako:
Gears 4 is no reason to buy an XB1 S or X. Graphics are nice but the gameplay, for me anyway, was tired and bland. The story was not strong enough to set up a new trilogy either.
@LateNight
Good example would be Crash Bandicoot. Was a great franchise whilst under the Naughty Dog banner but look at subsequent games in the franchise.
Your brief comment history tells me two things, you're angry most of the time and if the Nvidia screen had been developed by Sony you'd likely be a lot more accepting of it.
Any numbers?
Utter nonsense. I get that you dislike FM7 but your reasoning is fanboyish and has zero credibility.
So lack of cars is now a feature to applaud a game for?
Is it an improvement over the base XB1....yes....then stop your bleating and enjoy the game.
